Hah!! Geek girls have all the fun with nerdy quotes! I did a “There are Four Lights” reference at work once, and someone caught it across the room, it was great! Also got a little bit more respect at work too (though sadly not from my own department).
There’s one major problem that I’ve noticed with that Yoda quote:
“Try” expressly includes that effort is expended in order to reach a particular goal. Without the effort, the goal can not be reached. If there is no “try,” then by definition, there can never be a “do.” Without “try” the only possible result is “do not.”
Great line. Who would have the nerve to go against Nicole’s directive in the first place?
good thing she didn’t say “that is why you fail” huh XD
Suppose Dan does wear the necklace and it doesn’t fade, what will that mean?
Maybe it’s a trick of Nicodemus’ after all?!?! At Alex’s expense???
oh no! we’re going to have to wait to see what Dan does in dreamland! Scott you fiend! (just kidding 😀 )
Hehehehe… Scott, you rock. 🙂
You tell ‘im, Nicole!

D’aaw. These two are so cute!
YES. 😀
Geek girls are a lovely bunch. Soooo lovely. :3
Truth.
You can’t Dan, you just can’t.
[Yoda]
Mmm…strong in the Force, she is. Cloud men’s minds, she can. Yesss.

Dan, Resistance is futile. Of course.
People only do or do not because they try.
Haha. And here I was about to call Nicole out for trying to use Jedi mind tricks on Dan in the previous page. 😉
Nobody ever gets the intonation nor the timing right. There is a PAUSE between “Do” and “or do not”.
No, clouding men’s minds is the Shadow.
