Nobody ever gets the intonation nor the timing right. There is a PAUSE between “Do” and “or do not”.

There’s one major problem that I’ve noticed with that Yoda quote:
“Try” expressly includes that effort is expended in order to reach a particular goal. Without the effort, the goal can not be reached. If there is no “try,” then by definition, there can never be a “do.” Without “try” the only possible result is “do not.”
