Spooner…
Back in the day (about 3 or 4 years ago) I was co-owner of the Astonish Factory.
I met Ted Dawson who did a cartoon strip called Spooner.
I fell in love with it.
It’s like a sit-com. It reminded me of Mad About You, I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, etc.

I spoke to Ted last week and asked if it would be OK to put the comics we printed up on Wowio.
He gave me his blessings.

The scenery is a bit weird today (Tuesday). It looks like a different type of render from what’s usually used. Kinda like it’s trying to be realistic rather than Dreamland style.

What a wonderful comic. I just read the whole thing to date (instead of writing, sigh.) It reminds me of all the best parts of Sandman without the dark parts.
I would share it with my nin-year-old son, because it seems very kid friendly, except his made-up favorite character in the world is named Nicodemus. Not sure if finding a bad guy by the same name would upset him.
