So the question is, does Excalibur and the sheathe work for anyone or just the rightful king? If it’s just for the current king the Alex is SOL. If it works for a former king, or say a prince which Alex was and technically is, then he will pull through.
It’s like watching a game of chicken. Who’ll falter first, the steadfest artist who wants to kill a character off, or the audience who wants that character to live. What’ll happen when the two collide?! Popcorn!
