Nastajia’s up to something…
Thanks for your patience with the site being down. It’s all back to normal again (I think).
If any of you happen to see any missing pages in the archives… please let me know.
The store should be back soon too. We’re working on it.
Scott
That’s it, Nastajia, ego-boost him into submission! 🙂
If he DOES come up with a plan it better succeed or it may cement the idea he needs to hand off to Dan…
Glad to see the site is functioning normally! Thanks to those responsible!
She does not want to be left alone in Detroit while he goes to see his brother! She’s scared!
I think she’s trying to “prove” he is the rightful king and wants him to prove it to whoever else might doubt it.
(Long itme lurker and reader.)
I agree with Teri.
And then, after proving himself worth of being the king, maybe he could stay in Dreamland in someway and stay with her, because I think that that it’s what she needs the most.
I’m waiting to see what she’s “getting at!” 😉
I’m so glad you’re back up and running. I’ve missed this more than anything. Keep up the good work.
Doesn’t anybody else see those shadowy hands sneaking up behind Alexander?
I see them…but if you look at the first panel, they’re there too…and in that panel they almost look like the taloned hands/feet of one of the beasties they already fought and killed.
LOL! Who wouldn’t be scared to be left alone in Detroit?? 😛
You may have a good point here. After all, we already know that she’s in love with him, and she wouldn’t want him to abdicate and leave her alone for the rest of her life…
What Julie said, or they might just be common environmental decoration for all we know!
this was my first thought as well…nivienne be damned! but also, as a woman, she doesn’t like seeing her man so emasculated that he doesn’t believe he can EVER take action without consulting some other alpha male for advice. alex needs to be confident, and take the leadership initiative, for his own sake, and also for the sake of ‘his’ kingdom.
and yeah, the shadowy hands behind him and being left alone in detroit are not a pleasant thing to think about while alex pops off to consult with his brother.
DESPITE the fact that IF HE DID, he’d meet up with nastajia’s parents and be able to get THEIR advice on their daughter’s precarious situation in detroit/nightmare realm.
Yup, I totally jumped the gun on where Staj is going with this! 😛
Great writing though Scott, I’m even more curious now than I was yesterday!!! >_<
Hmmm… I wonder, is she trying to instill a sense of confidence in him currently lacking, perhaps proving to him (by having him prove to himself) that he's as 'worthy' as his dear brother…?
*reads comments*
Ahem, so yeah, like TEri already said, basically. -_-
It’s almost too bad because if he were to go home, say, now, he’d find her parents. but for the sake of the story…….
Aw, it’s just someone playing shadow puppets. And they think we wouldn’t notice…
clearly you don’t know alex very well, nast.
It would be extra funny if all pretenses were dropped and Dan, Nicole, and Nastajia’s parents were sitting around the dinner table, drinking coffee, sharing stories of child Alex and Nastajia.
“And then your brother got his head stuck in a Royal Elm and my daughter covered him with jam because she thought it would lubricate him out of there.”
7,
Yep, that was my thought as well…
