Page 1193…
Hi all!
Thanks for the thoughtful advice on the forum.
Really appreciate it.
Also…
Wanted to remind you again of the store.

I’m still slated to add the kids books. Will hopefully do that later today.
Hope you enjoy.
Scott
Hehe, good thinking on Staj’s part I’d say
also….
AAAAAAH!!!!! First, finally… :D, I’m gonna go celebrate now.
Oh, Alex.
Your friends appreciate your strengths but are VERY conscious of your weaknesses.
Truly, Dreamland is lucky Nastajia had the forethought to do so.
Hah, even called it a couple pages ago. 😛
Don’t worry Alex, my sense of direction is about as legendarily bad.
Just as an example: the discussion about forums is now lost in the past – if somebody (TFBW, for instance) missed yesterday’s page he will not be able to easily give his opinion in context (e.g. by answering another comment) anymore as nobody will ever read yesterday’s documents again…
That’s what is missing a bit on this commenting system. It did distrurb me a bit a while back as the daily discussions included e.g. the motivations of Nic.
By the way – only a side disturbance, negligible compared to the fun factor of the comic!
Of course here’s the chance to answer in context 🙂
ROFL! that is all.
Brilliant 😀
Don’t be too dismayed, Alex, you know it’s true. But hey, they still love ya. =)
Love Alex’s expression in the last panel. Looks kind of like: “Um, is that a good thing?” lol!
My wife has to do this pretty often: anticipate my forgetfulness. She will not be leaving any flirty cat-women behind to remind me though. Guess Natajia doesn’t trust Alex’ sense of direction, but she does trust his heart. 😉
I don’t think Nastaja actually asked Felicity to do anything of the sort. I think Felicity is playing her own game – either Felicity is a good guy but has worked this out to get some alone time with Alex, or she’s a double agent. That’s how I would have written it… 🙂
Actually, I have a suggestion for a compromise (that didn’t occur to me yesterday). One of the other comics I read (Digger) has a single RSS feed for all of the comment sections on all of the pages, rather than a separate RSS feed for the comments on each page, as we have here.
By having a single RSS feed, you can monitor the comments and see if someone comments on page 3, or page 247, or the current page, and respond easily if you want to.
Of course, that wouldn’t be much help to those that don’t use RSS feeds. (I did say it was a compromise … )
😉
Somehow I doubt that. The whole “double agent, trust issues” thing has already been done with Felicity, several chapters back.
mh…
i almost forget… i wanted to say something but…
i forgot…><
Oh man… Alex’s expression makes me laugh. At the same time, I can tell he’s upset/offended… I’m expecting him to “grow up” a lot during this volume. And to think… this is only Chapter 16, out of the expected 24 (If I recall correctly). So even though we’re over halfway done, we have a LONG ways to go…
Don’t catch on quick, do he :B
Beautiful page!
And when Dreamland’s historians looks back on this, they’ll pin the big victory on Nastajia’s timely directions for a forgetful Alex 😉
If that was Nastajia’s idea, then she really is the right one for Alex.
i had that feeling too =3
I know the double agent thing has already been dealt with… but she could always have lied back then or turned back to her old ways or just have another lack of judgment and thought this would be fun or something.. i don’t know, maybe the 2 of us are too pessimistic? watched too many backstabbing movies? XP
it just seems odd that NASTAJIA of all ppl would leave FELICITY of all people behind to guide alex… why not leave kiwi? or paddington? or just a random soldier/teddy bear/civilian, etc? Then again, maybe kiwi and paddington are needed for the war..?? Guess I dunno enough about their plan to decide… but I’m still very uneasy about this =3
Alex is going to be one of those folks who needs a life-time chaperon to keep an eye on him.
Hmmm, thought occurred to me. I can’t help but think ahead, but wouldn’t it be an interesting sub-plot if the guys think Felicity is reporting info to the bad guys? It would distract them from the real reason Nic knows what is going on.
yes Alex, they know you well! 🙂
Only one word comes to mind… PWNED!
Is it just me, or does the lighting in panel 3 look significantly muted from the other panels? It’s a bit of a severe shift in color saturation and contrast…..
Last panel:
“POIT!”
Of course. :3
I know what you mean… maybe it’s because of the direction of the sunlight or something
Alex face in the final panel is PRICELESS!!!
Whoa, I totally just realized that Alex has dark eyebrows despite having blond hair. He’s pulling a Legolas-thing!
lol. i love alex’s expression at the end. XD
good thinking for nast.
oh! I can think of all kinds of intersting story lines for these two. I hope you are planning to explore at least one of the more interesting ones.
***Grins an evil grin***
Er, really?
What ARE his strengths?
All evidence given thus far is that he’s stupid, lazy, inarticulate, insensitive, and generally useless.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this strip, but I have yet to see many redeeming characteristics in its leading man.
Not Exactly what I’d expected, but oh so un-surprising. 😀
Had to re-render Wednesday’s page.
Will have the page uploaded in the morning.
SOrry for the delay.
Good to know, see you in a few hours!
Sometimes it’s hard to handle realizing that your friends don’t have faith in you. Even harder if it’s your girlfriend, heh. Heroes usually grow past their shortcomings though, so here’s hoping Alex doesn’t snap first and become the next great Dreamland threat instead!
He’s loyal, daring and has a sense of humour. When he does apply himself, he achieves a lot.

Felicity: she…. completes you.
A: …i suppose its true
yeah. i have a bad memory, my girlfriend helps me with that. im just afraid she’ll get sick of it…
Hehehe. >:D
He can fly. He is willing to improve himself for the people that he loves.
OMG says th? nvm
