I’ve loved seeing your fan art, reading your letters, meeting you in person, seeing your cosplays, and friending you in real life.
You’ve supported me when we couldn’t afford new computers, printing, or even food to feed the kids.
You’ve encouraged me to finish. You’ve laughed, cried, and squealed with glee with me at each turn of the page.
I’m both saddened and excited to see this endeavor come to an end.

Ahh the dreams of youth, hoping that everything will turn out happily ever after.
I would almost have the next picture being Danny at his witz end trying to be the voice of reason when everybody is arguing.
The Dwarf diplomat: The Dwarfs claim the right to mine that region! it is vital for our community to grow! and we can´t with the elves constantly sabotaging our equipment! Your majesty we besiege you to place strict censures on these criminals!
The Elf Diplomat: Your mining is destroying a peaceful nature preserve that has existed since the dawn of time, you are doing more damage than the nightmare beast ever could.
My king you must see reason and order these destroyers of everything sacred off our lands!
Military director “sir the soldiers along the borders haven´t been payed for a long time and a threatening to strike if they don´t receive their salary soon.
King Daniel in his mind: “This was supposed to be dreamland not nightmare land.”
Thank you Scott (and the army of people along the years that made it possible) – that was an amazing journey and it accompanied my daily life during so many years! Look forward getting the next PDFs for my collection of eBooks!

I can’t believe we are this close to the end! I will so miss this story. Thank you, Scott, for everything!

I’m going to miss this comic. Even though it will be a ton of work, and probably expensive, I am hoping that you and Tracy can work something out to redraw the entire comic. Rerun it from the beginning, leaving the CGI pages in their own Archive section and slowly replace them with the beautiful, and more consistent, drawn artwork!
That way, I don’t have to say goodbye for a while…

While there’s a certain bittersweet sadness that accompanies the close of this era, perhaps you have something in mind for the next story? Something we can all fall in love with as well? 🙂

Hi Scott. Don’t now if you remember this username or not but I started reading TDC 11 or so years ago (where does the time go?) and, while there have been lapses in my daily reading, I’ve always come back. I remember ordering the first 2 graphic novels direct from your company–complete with sketches. Wow.
But this isn’t about me, it’s about you! Congratulations on this milestone. Know that this series will be missed. I hope you will keep us all updated on your endeavors, from Animal Crackers and beyond! Thank you for sticking with it even when things weren’t looking good. We all appreciated it.
Wonderful work, art, story and thank you for entertaining me and giving me something to look forward to on a daily basis!

Like any good book, it’s worth it to come back and visit them again and again. With the hope that the next generation gets to enjoy them as much as we did/do.
Just… wow. I’m floored, realizing that, by Friday, this will have ended… These characters will go on, immortalized- after a fashion. but we will not see what paths the next day will take them. Maybe, someday, they will come back and implore you to create a sequel to their stories, Scott… And I hope I am around to see it! 😀
