I can REALLY tell the new eyes on this page. They look phenomenal. Alex’s eyes MAY be a little bright though. Almost too fanciful for a human. Other than that, the eyes look a lot more expressive; they two lovebirds look like they are glowing when looking at one another.
Something tells me that imperious look of hers is never going to work quite the same on him again.
Got here too late today… SparcMan already said what I was gonna… ^.^

i think it would be nice to have a little more brown and darkness to alex’s. right now they appear very close to nastajia’s, and though staj’s dark hair balances her eyes, all your attention for alex goes straight into those gorgeous irises

I’m betting that Nastajia is thinking Alex is so predictable and that is why she is smiling. Don’t kid yourself for a minute, when the time comes Nastajia will still be able to dig in her heels.
Just remember, to understand the truly devious mind requires another female. Scott, that’s why you have Donna, right?

I like Nastajia’s look in de 4th panel, but her ears in the 1st 2nd and 3rd panel look so… unnatural… where are all the lines most humans (and elves) have in their ears?

Hm… you’re right, there is a lack of ‘canals’ and ‘ridges’ (or whatever the proper terms are) in the ears… Honestly never noticed that…
Anyway, either she is finding him predictable, or she was trying to mess with him by using that ‘imperious glare’, but realized it wasn’t working and all was good anyway.. I don’t think she feels the need to press the point further, regardless.
ok i’ve waited a long time to ask this but is nastajia’s hair shorter? It looked so much longer when it was up, as well as lighter. -shrugs-

We discussed this a few months ago when someone pointed this out.
Apparently (being a guy…and pretty much bald) I hadn’t realized how long Nastajia’s hair would be once it came down.
So it’s techically shorter now. But will be the same length when I go back to the other model.

excellent comic, as usual(I know I say this alot, Scott, but your comic is definitely that level of praise-worthy). Good touch with the facial expressions, plus you can say a lot in your face(as Lie To Me can attest).
The new layout seems a litte wierd at first, but I figure I’ll get used to it(now if only I had high-speed so I can watch you craft this masterpiece!)

Scott, of course you’re bald (ahem, taller than your hair)–if you’re like your avatar. I do like the melting of the Ice Queen look with Alex’s impish smile. I suspect Nastajia has no brother, much less two of them, so she doesn’t know how complex the relationship can be between brothers.
By the way, nice new upgrades to the site. And after jess’s comment, I have to wonder how Felicity will react to Alex’s new shininess when she wakes up.
(OK, I realize for her there won’t really be a change. But it would be fun, given her response to shiny things like the amulet, if she did see a change.)
The new eyes are amazing. I’m not certain those last three panels would work with the old eyes- but with the new eyes, they look stunning. The emotions leap off the page. Good work, Scott!

Has the page shrunk with the new layout? Suddenly the panels don’t seem as large and the comments are a little harder to read,
The ellipsis in the page title is also causing some weird effects. It’s an actual single-character ellipsis “…” and not three periods “…”. This is displaying as “…” on my system.
Did you change the style of certain buttons? It looks nice, though some things come up weird.
Hey, nice changes, but I see a few strange symbols and letters like the Euro. And… it doesn’t really match the style/feeling of the site

What happened to site layout?
I just found your comic yesterday, and it is truly amazing and endearing. Have read from page one, and have to say, this is impressive in scope and design. Incredible job dear sir, incredible job. Have you thought about contacting your local school system or major publisher? This would probably sell, in a big way.
One reason I guess this comic really means something to me is I did have “lucid dreams” as child, as well as several other terms I cannot remember. Mostly unpleasant things, but it was a re-occurring world, so this hits really close to home in a strange way. You want high praise? I hadn’t experienced said type of dream in years, and then read this, and did. Good show man, and this is an incredible effort. You can count on an additional vote and view a day *tips hat*, good day sir.

and I don’t think his head is attached right…..
I also had/have lucid dreams, even have dreams of flying…I sigh over Alex’s frustration and commiserate with him. Still, my dreams are not Dreamland–quite. Not as vividly magical.
Maybe that’s all part of why I like this epic so much.

Scott, I checked with Thunt on what he does during his drawing sessions on Justin.tv. He uses a text-to-speech adapter (Monologe on MIRC for their setup), and headphones/mike.
Haha love their playfulness. Yes! Alex is lucky to have a brother like Dan.
About the web interface : the new buttons are nicer and easier to click, but you removed the ability to click the image to go to the next one. Could you please readd that, Scott ?
