News and stuff…
Hey all…
Comments about this week’s pages…
Alexander shows his “goofy” side…and spoils “the mood”.
But nothing mushy lasts forever…hope you enjoyed the “kissy parts”
And why am I using so many “quotations”?
😛
I wanted to tell you all about a great project for kids called the Create a Comic Project.
The creator John Baird asked me a couple weeks ago to donate some pages and I gladly did.
John takes pages from comics…gets rid of the dialog…and gets kids to write by adding in their own dialog.
It’s still in its early stages. But take a look and hopefully this will grow into something used in classrooms and such.

Also…I wanted to thank you for your continued support.
I still have 20 more Necklaces left.
So for the next 20 orders on the website’s store…we have sword necklaces that come free with each order.
For those of you who’ve asked…
I don’t know if/when we’ll get more in. So I apologize. But I am working on it.
And for those of you who’ve asked…
I do take checks or money orders. Just email me and we’ll set it up.
Oh…and a new vote incentive is up…
Again…these are previews of what goes on in the Dreamland Animated books up on Wowio.
For those of you who are in the U.S. (I’m told Canadians will soon be able to download Wowio books)…please click the animated links at the top right of this page to see the books we have on Wowio.
They’re FREE to download…and each one you download pays us to keep Dreamland running daily.
Thanks again to your support and hope you enjoy this week of pages.

Yep, that’s what some men do…when they don’t know what to do or say in a serious moment, they do something goofy.
(To be fair, some women do that, too.)
I know of a webcomic artist who posts her work on Wowio and Lulu (a self-publishing service) to offer online versions of her books… she set the price at 69 cents per download so that international readers could still download the books and she would receive some commission for it.
You might want to consider it.
You know, I really like the Animated parts of the Chronicles, and it got me to thinking that it would make a great animated film, if the funding/time was ever obtained. Keep up the great work. I’ve loved everything about this webcomic since I started reading it.
Kristle…thanks. That’s a good idea. I’ll look into it.
Druke..thank you. I’ll definitely let everyone know if that ever happens.
Jilster…You got it.
🙂
I think you’ve struck a very good balance between character development and plot. Action-shmaction! As long as it’s something I enjoy seeing, I’m fine with it. It’s all part of the story. And I was getting a smidge tired of Nastajia’s transparent jealousy of the cat-girl. Still, I was fine with your pace. Good grief, sexual tension is the life blood of stories like this, sometimes. 🙂 I hope that, with this out of the way, though, we can now attend to the serious business of kicking the patoot of a certain red-and-purple dragon. As always, looking forward to each new page. Excellent work! And I have downloaded just about everything that’s online at Wowio, as well.
I agree with all the people saying alexander ruining the mood.
And now everything is back to the loveful mood again (moodswings anyone?)
Au contrair! Alex shows his goofy side and the mood is darn near perfect. Lightening the tone was just right, IMHO. This is a wonderful payoff.
To this page, I must respond. I am not sure if this is the correct outlet for comments on the comic, or if this is just for the blog, but whatever.
To put it simply, Staj would have a huge bruise on her head if she is resting it on his armor. I requisition a band-aid for her.
On another note, keep up the awesome work.
That is a great page. 😀
On another note: I sure hope Canadians can soon get Wowio books! I’ve felt left out for months!!! 😛
Ah, the bonds of youth are restored with a little goofiness. Good thing Nastajia didn’t decide to deck him! Heh!
<3 This is still mushy, just cute, goofy mushy. Yay 😀
Have a question about the animated books. I downloaded a few of them, but they seemed to be the same types of pdf files as the regular books. Is it just that a few of the frames on each page are animated?
Feedback please.
Hi Sanood…
Thanks for downloading the ANimated versions of the Wowio books.
The difference is that there should be an introduction and table of contents at the beginning of the books.
The table of contents tells you which pages have the frames that animate.
Also. The animated versions do NOT have the behind the scenes art in the back of the books.
Hope that helps and thanks again
Scott
Nastajia definately has the “This is the first time I’ve been happy in a decade, no dumb words from cute boy are going to spoil it.”
