We’re BACK!
Wow. That was a HECK of a long hiatus.
Thank you all for your patience and support during the month and a half off.
Lots of news today!
First off…HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sons Brendan and Logan!
They turned 7 today!
How time flies. Brendan is now up to my collar bone. Logan’s only an inch behind him too.
Seriously…they’re almost as tall as my MOM (she’s who my sister and I measured ourselves to first since she was the closest to our height).

Also…
My dad is out of the hospital and we had a great time watching the Super Bowl with him yesterday.
They removed part of his colon to get to all the cancer. But still some was found in his lymph nodes they removed.
So we all appreciate the prayers and thoughts. He’s doing great…but still a bit to go.
And…
We won the Webcomic List Awards’ for Best Non Traditional Art!

Seven is an awesome age for beginning epic adventures! I still haven’t figured out when they end, but if I ever find out, I’ll letcha know! (I think there’s no such thing as an end to the adventure, that’s just a myth.)

I`m glad your dad came out of the hospital and that he is doing good. I`m sorry to hear it was already in his lymph nodes….I hope everything will turn out ok.
Also, I wanted to thank you for your dedication, we read this comic for free, you don`t owe us anything, still you are so dedicated to the comic and make sure there are pages whenever you can. Just make sure you can handle it all ok? Your family goes first. 🙂 I get the feeling you are a family man so I guess that`ll be ok, but stil… 😉

When I saw the nomination for Union of Heroes it was all “Wow! We are nominated! Cool!” then I noticed that you and “A softer world” where nominated, too and it changed into “Oh well, I guess I will not win this one.” Good to see that my self-assessment is still working correct after producing almost two years of photographed superhero comics. 🙂

@ RG: The WCCA awards are dead after experiencing organizational difficulties. Their operator wished us luck with our award.
