Okay, everybody please reread this page’s comic
and imagine a woman’s voice saying “that’s what she said.” at the end
think about it for a minute
and remember that it was I, maziecat, who introduced the TWSS (that’s what she said) joke
Honestly, I love that this comic is rated G, because it means I’ll be able to show to my kids when they get old enough . . . at which point there will be a rather large archive . . . lol.
That said, a redone adult version (not too adult) would be an awesome thing to see. Cause we totally need the ‘oh shiiiiiitt . . .’ that this page deserves.
Um… what do you mean, Adrian? Elven Bazooka? She’s holding onto the rudder shaft of the boat to steer. Kinda surprised at the lack of boat wheel… I should hope it does have both.
“Rated G” refers to a film’s rating recommendation by the motion picture association (in the US). It means “General Audience”, and is considered to not contain any material that would be offensive to children or families. (This can be, as you pointed out, highly subjective.)
The lowest rating we have over here is “U” for universal or somesuch. I prefer to believe that just means it fails the test. I guess “G” would suffice for test-failure too.
Next up is the “PG”… which isn’t really noticeably different besides not perhaps being so conspicuously dumbed down. Then the ratings go 12, 15, 18. Takes a lot to get an 18 age rating. Most things seem to end up either 12 or 15 here.
Less a matter of “doesn’t need to rely on” and more of “conspicuously avoids” … though at the very least there is blood-spillage in this comic.
Honestly, the best sort of stories don’t concern themselves with age-ratings at all and just do as comes naturally… neither seeking anything controversial nor consciously avoiding it.
“Oh shi-” is the only thing that sums up the look in is eyes. XD
Can you say threading of the needle
Well said!
“I hope this armor doesn’t rust!”
“It’ll be just like Beggar’s Canyon back home!”
At this point all Alex can do is hang on!
‘Oh MAN’ is only there because this comic is rated G
Which is highly appreciated! >.<
Elven bazooka!?
Rated G?
What the heck does that mean?
There is no such thing as a “G” rating.

Giant flying ship: Stolen Armor: Gift Having that look on your face: PRICELESS

Alex, understatement of the century. You’re in way over your head.

is it just me or Alex has been spending mos of his time attached to stiff, long poles?
You’ve brought this point up before, Macor. Jealous much?
😉
*sigh*
MaziecatDude – I am ashamed to say that I was right there, too, from the first panel of this page – I think Nastajia stole Alex’s line.
Unlike the comments section.
“Help me Obi-wan Kenobi! You’re our only hope!”
Rated G as in “doesn’t need to rely on cussing, nudity or gore”.
And that’s a good thing. Means we have a good story.
Shielding kids from reality is not something I endorse.

I was going to say that… I can’t belive nobody else thought of that when they heard Najasta ^_^
The look on Alex’s face is priceless!!
Alex: “Mommy!”
In the third panel, her eyes r literally all green.
