They tend to drag these tender moments on forever. Standard fantasy romance dictates that love is not admitted until well into the heat of final battle, thus giving the hero enough juice to make a killing blow.
From the tender moment with which we’re witnessing so far, I’d say the final battle is going to EPIC!
Elves live – as stated before by Nicodemus – hundreds of years. Humans are lucky to see a century. Plus, Dreamland is reverse-Narnia time, so Alex should be aging much faster than denizens of Dreamland. (Except that in both worlds, he was gone for eight years.) In any case, Alex’s promise can only go so far.
Nothing can stop them now- he’d already be starting to fade, and they’d already hear the shouting if there was a serious problem.
They’re gonna make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There doesn’t seem to be much sync between Dreamland time and Earth time, to be honest, except for the 8-years thing. Otherwise, nights and days seem to vary between a few seconds (during the fall) and a whole night (the interval just after the sudden disappearance during the -first- tender moment interrupted).
and then he left

Too predictable. Something else will stop them from the ultimate lip-sync… 🙂

Yup, why can’t she be a sensible queen and marry one of her own kind?
The simple solution is that Alex be knocked into a coma…. That’ll keep him there.
I say there about to get attacked.
Lol to Chameleon. I think Ed Reeds on the Defense tho.
