I thought it was glowing to attract a thieves attention at first…. but then after it started glowing at the cave… I was beginning to wonder that myself, if the dragon has a tablet, this could be bad trouble!
Well, we know Nico was inquiring about the tablets, so it makes some sense that he might have collected one or more from their hiding places. We’re just glad (assuming Alex et.al. are the good guys) that he didn’t find and steal the elves’ or mer-people’s tablets.
But it stopped glowing as soon as Felicity grabbed it…which kinda leads me to believe Nicodemus was using it as some kind of alarm, making it glow to attract a thief’s attention, then as soon as they grab it…you saw what happened.
Tailman: doubt that as the first guardian was a kraken …
And everyone knows the more important an item is the more it glows (and seems to attract thieving catgirls if said item also floats in mid air), though I’m also thinking there is a tablet at nic’s. After all, even if an evil king has the very thing that could be his downfall, it’s still nice to keep those memorable items for old times sake.
I noticed that, too. It’s like she’s *really* rubbing it in to Nastajia, by holding the amulet and playfully draping herself all over Alex at the same time – “Now *I* have the upper hand, and I’m doing my victory dance all over your fella. Hee hee!”
By the look on Nastajia’s face in panel 3, I don’t think that’s lost on her.
glowing?!? doesn’t that mean that one of the tablets is in Nicodemus’s treasure room?
I’ve been thinking that for some time…
I’ve been thinking that since she grabbed the damned thing.
I just thought it was glowing because… it wanted to be noticed?
Well, she does have a point.

It floated also. How could you miss that?!

why didn’t she mention that it was floating?
if im right and guardians are dragons, but nic is a betrayer, he probably stole the guardians’ tablet when he betrayed them.

Nobody’s mentioned how Felicity is putting the moves on Alex in panels 1,2, and 4.
Mentioned that the last time it was glowing.
