Seems pretty obvious that the major romance plot will be Alex and Nastajia, some cliches are too obvious to be easily sidestepped, but the way she’s acted to far, it’s kinda hard to pull for her, even before counting in how much I adore Felicity so far.
Macha is not really a Cat / Elf. Macha a humanoid cat and more cat than humanoid at that. I wouldn’t even call Macha a Catgirl… And Macha was mute – we never heard a voice.
Wait… Macha is FEMALE?! I never would have guessed! Macha did not look female to me, aside from some lavender fur, that is. But then, if you’ve seen the series to the end you’d realize how gender-confused a certain other character is.
Isn’t this debate a matter of taste and personality? Some people really like elves and some really like furries and/or catgirls. Some like introspective introverted intellectual types and some like cheerful, extroverted, sociable types.
Anyway, I think Nastajia has too many issues and concerns at the moment to develop romantically, while Felocity and Alex barely even know each other. And in a certain sense, even Nastajia and Alex are strangers of sorts, having only really known each other years ago as children.
However, this debate is rather pointless, isn’t it? Felocity is the newest character and hasn’t had a chance to establish much of a relationship with the other characters, let alone clearly demonstrate her true self.
Felocity is new and was not really invited to their party or their quest. If anything she’s more like an accidental guest at best at this point. Though she has sortof proven her skills, worth and intentions and so they should cut her some slack.
Nastajia is pretty much the party leader for several reasons, being Queen of the Elves and questing for her lost parents and all. And as a party leader and the leader of elves, she has tremendous responsibility. She has to be cautious. And then there’s the whole subconscious fear of loosing her Alex to the new girl…
Really, the character personality traits and interactions do make sense if you think about it. But, yeah, while Nastajia needs to be cautious, she’s become downright anti-social – even vicious. Being a Princess/Queen she must have been taught better manners and tact than this. Probably comes from buried hurt and fear.
Well don’t you think that people who care more about looks than personality get the friends they deserve?
Unfortunately it takes more more work to find out someones personality than looks. :/
This layout is so stellar. How did you manage to make a blog that’s as smart as it is sleek? I’ve got to say, the layout alone made me come back to this blog again. But now that I’ve read what you’ve got to say, I’ve got to share it with the world!
I know it’s not chivalrous or anything, but…
*slaps Nastajia for that last comment*
Man i would so take sexy elf girl over hairy cat girl!!!!!!!!!
CAT FIGHT! Hahaha, yeah James, who would want a damn furry?
Ooo, burn!
Are you kidding? I’d take Felicity over our little ice queen any day. :p
Ice queen all the way!
True dat Tawn. Although, imagine if there was a cat elf…
Ouch. That was harsh.
Kittymorph is way cuter and more gracious than aloof and distant elf.
Nuh uh. Nastajia is better.
Isn’t there a way to have them both? ^.^
uuuurg. Nastajia, quit being a butt! *smacks Nat*
be nice!
Forget about Felicity and Nastajia; the real catfight is taking place in the comments section!
I second draga. Cat Elf would be cool.
i totally agree with falco on this one.
I’m biased, but… Felicity ftw >.>
I used to like Nat, but she’s getting kind of bitchy…
I think I’m siding with Felicity here.
Felicity is way cooler then Nastajia, and she’d nice….

maybe she’s right not to trust Felicity, several people in the comic have commented on how strange it was that Nico put Alex next to Felicity’s cell
Love the comic, but noticed a mistake. Nastajia’s bow is drawn slightly in mid-air, but there is nothing to draw it.
Awww! Poor Felicity.
I agree with Falco. Why don’t we all wait and see who wins out in the end?
There is a cat-elf like thing in the anime series .hack//sign, it’s name is Macha.
http://www.absoluteanime.com/dot_hack/maha.htm
The way they’re talking, only in a harem.
ME-OW!!
I’d like to look like Nat, with Felicity’s personality. Sadly looks and personality don’t often go together.
i kill you now.
yyyyaaaaaaayyyyy! finally a guy with some sense….

Lawful vs Chaotic.
I’d side with Chaotic every time.
