“You know that amulet is obviously the-“(“hey what are you two doing here, get out of my house” “sir step away from the keyboard and put your hands up”(takes off dark sunglasses)
Horatio Caine!?

Hmmmm, Yobikir, I didn’t think about that, but you could be right, and would make sense in the grand scheme of normal fantasy genre. You meet the bad guy at the beginning, you get dumped out of his palace, then you run around, get magical items that help you to eliminate the evil king, then come back to his castle and own up on him with your silver arrows…. Oh wait, that’s just Zelda, not general fantasy- so anything could go depending on the direction Scott wants to take it.
Okay, the shiny thing’s shine when it was up on the tower was connected to a magic that alarmed Nico to its being disturbed. If there was an item there that the shiny thing’s magic was keyed to, for whatever reason, wouldn’t that have tipped Nico off earlier to the keyed item’s presence? Or did he find it already in proximity to the keyed item, and never thought to remove it from the premises?
I know what that is now! but i wont ruin the plot…
P.S. I THINK I know what it is
yeah I think your right
and if it is what I think it is then I saw that one coming a mile away
i saw that coming
What? What is coming?
yeah I think I see alot of things coming that seemed subtle at first but are becoming more and more obvious
Figures it would be the sparkly shiny thing that grabs her attention… and that she kept it…
Haha, good thing she’s a natural cat. I’m surprised I just now got that.
Heh, reminds me of the book The Goblin Wood.
My preciousssss…
I saw that coming too, whoo! And I’m glad.
Yeah, it’s what it is that everyone speaks of. And I like how she kept it in her top. 😉
i wonder where she has been hiding the shiny thing O_o
I saw it too! ShInY! OoOoooH….
Oooh, the pretty, floaty, shiny thing is shiny again!

Or suffer the wrath of Caine
Amulet: “In…point…four…miles…turn left…then arrive at destination…on left.”
british-american accent?
Okay, there’s that, but the question is, is she Nicodemus’ spy or not?
Silver, I personally prefer “In one miles-” but still full of lolwin
mmh if this shines there and it shined at the castle doesnt it means in the castle is another ****?
I saw that coming a loooooooooong time ago. I know what the thing was when they were running from the dragon 😮

Good thing she did, too: if she had kept it in her pants, she wouldn’t be able to retrieve it, right now…
It’s been so long since I read this part, I’m actually happy I’ve forgotten what that light is. Everything is a whole new experience again.
It shines cos the tablet is near?
Makes you wonder why it was shining at the top of Nico’s tower then, doesn’t it?

WATER BEARS.
It was kinda obvious what it is from the moment she first spotted it.
