Speaking of cue dramatic music, I actually was digging up the Dragon Boss theme from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on my itunes while waiting for this page to load…
Actually, this is an effect of the medium, in no way reflecting upon the artist’s skill. EVERYTHING looks a little like a plastic toy, and if the creature is out of fantasy it’s harder to overlook that.
So say this coming Dragons can really hold a grudge they live a really long time to. You can look at the Legend of Zelda games the bad guy is the same and their is always a faint reminder of the last game in each of the game.
Yes, but the dragon looks more like an action figure than most. The scales look a little too much like plastic, while the other characters bear a closer resemblance to claymation. Frankly, I much prefer the claymation look than action figures. Sorry to be a critic!

…
… Well, it’s not really that big of a surprise actually. There was the font, then all the hints in the last few comics.
DUN DUN DUN!!!
Well personally i was stunned!!!! it shocked the hell outta me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The scar shocked me more than anything else. That, and Nicodemus looks amazingly good.
I knew it! =]
Yeah, I’m with Wolf. Foreshadowing and text didn’t leave much room for surprise.
oh snap
Damn, if only he wasn’t that scaly…
pssst, everybody, I’ve found out who it is!

I think this pretty much says it all…

It’s not exactly a coincidence though, is it?
Wait, Claudia, wait… The teeth and horns don’t stop you, the general evilness doesn’t present a problem, it’s the *scales* that slow you down.
I think I wanna party with you.
Who what is?
What now?
Not to belittle the art, but he does look slightly like a plastic toy here. A very detailed one … but there’s something about the sheen of his scales.
Tell him that to his face, I dare you.

Yeah, he’s been workin’ out.

WHY OH WHY MUST THE -DRAGON- BE THE VILLAIN?! ARRRRRGH!! >XC
Also, Ai, um…Actually, there is a worrisome lack of dragons in Zelda, in my opinion. Especially ones who are major to the plot…
Oh Sh–!
My, my, my… what big horns you have…
Alex: So tell me Nic… what’s was it like being on the D&D Basic Set book-covers…?
😉
Who the king is, I think…
Um… Syrinx, you may have just failed a sarcasm perception spot check.
