“you can share my adventures with me”… does is it even make sense? Sorry, no-native speaker, but that sentence boils my brainz…
Hmmm. Potential for trouble here. Two’s company, three’s a crowd.
It also means that their mum can visit.
So the question is, can the bracelet be transferred? If that is the case then others from the waking world can visit dreamland. Somehow though I bet there’s a catch, there’s always a catch. I’m guessing it doesn’t work for someone already in Dreamland since it exists in the waking world.
Hey Geo. Yes it does make sense. There is actually nothing wrong with that sentence, grammatically. It would mean nearly the same thing to say “You can share my adventures,” but adding “with me” on the end emphasizes what is most important to Alex. He is glad Nicole is can go adventuring; but most of all, he is glad she can go adventuring with him. Does that help? I’m a native English speaker, but trying to learn another language, and I like it when people explain. 🙂
You might be right about the catch, vigilant. But as Weshtery mentioned, even if Alex can’t go to earth, his Mom can come see him. I bet she’ll be thrilled (and slightly overwhelmed.

It means Nicole doesn’t have to go to Adopt-A-Pet to get a kitty, she can just go to Dreamland!

I think it could. I think it simply takes you there, but I could be wrong. One of them would be left behind unless they use the thing but I’m sure Alex wants to stay with the lovely elf girl.
