Nah. A megalomaniac NEEDS his enemy to know who he is. So he will now tell him exactly who he is, maybe part of his story. There might even be a rant somewhere.
Exactly. Best way to defeat an overpowered villian. Exploit their vanity to get them talking in order to stall for time and reveal potential weaknesses in their position. Maybe not Alex’s intention, but he’s doing a great job distracting Gilgamesh. You can bet that others are converging on the scene already.
Gilgamesh: I am Gilgamesh, King of Uruk and First King of Dreamland!
Alex: Never heard of you. Wasn’t Arthur the first king?
Poor Gilgamesh is not going to get any recognition from Alex, who dozed off during history class. Gilgamesh is unarmed and Alex has Excalibur, so Alex can defeat Gilgamesh if he can hit him. However Gilgamesh is very experienced in battle and supercharged with the lifeforce from the children. One blow from him would send Alex flying. If Alex can get Gilgamesh mad enough he might be able to dodge a hasty blow and score a hit. More likely, Alex will keep Gilgamesh distracted until Nastaje can land a blow from behind with her warhammer.
Alex, Alex, Alex. The correct answer is “The guy whose about to get his A** kicked.”

Seriously, I’m getting worried about Daniel.
When your hair looks that cool, you don’t have to know anything.
Alex.. Go on, get him monologuing!!!
Rule #1: first hit, then answer 😉
“DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!” *one of the biggest cliche’ lines from a villain ever.”
“no not really” one of the best responses to the cliche line.
Time passes differently on Earth and in Dreamland. Until Dan’s dream body disappears, his Earth body is still alive. Being choked, but alive.
Can Alex defeat the first king???
Just keep guessing Alex until he gets tired and makes a rash move.
the guy who is killing my brother and thousands of children and that’s all I need!

Or until Daniel is freed from his attacker and steps in.
He must!
Voldemort’s uglier cousin?
I’m your father, for the star wars version.
*slow clap* That’s our Alex.
In my believe it will end with Nico grabbing Abadon and both going down like a norse snake (symbol of eternaty: Snake bites his own tail).
=)
“Do you even know whom you face?”
… Irenicus? Jon Irenicus, is that you?
