Page 2064…
Happy Friday, All!
Hope you enjoyed this week’s pages!
NOTE:
NEXT WEEK THERE WILL BE NO NEW PAGES!
Tracy needs one more “buffer week” to get to the end of the book.
So we’re giving her a week off.
See you in 10 days for more.
Scott
…Did Nastajia just do a gatotsu?
Oh boy, the grace! like cats. cheeky reunion btw. “miss me?” I love it. Meets long lost mom and comes off with “miss me?”.
@scott, tracy: take your time, buffer up.
Wow, we are getting so close to the end! Major props to Tracy for seeing it through!
The family that kills together, stays together.
Perfect spot to take a break…with a beautiful scene like that. Well played, sir. 🙂
Elves clearly have mastered breakfall as well as ninjas.
Nastajia needs another sword. Nastajia looks badass with a sword. Makes an impact with the hammer. … Nocking off making pointless weapunz. Bows.
Superhero landing!
I’m sure Alex would approve of this reunion of Ashendel’s royal family.
Again, wonderful expressions on Nastajia’s face.
Got right to the point, I see. =)
And mom’s next question: “So, have you met a nice man and settled down yet?”
She can recover that sword when gravity catches up with the nightmare beast she just killed. Mom and daughter may not want to stand there long or the beast will crash on top of them.
*casually falls 30 feet*
…and yet skirt billows prettily without flying up inconveniently. Wonder how much it costs to spell Titania’s wardrobe annually and/or how often those spells need to be renewed.
Replace “kills” with “slays” and you have a motto.
How much time has passed in the comic so far? How long were they “missing”?
And they stick the dismount!
I believe this is the first time Nastajia has seen her mother since Alex entered Dreamland as an adult. The narrative suggests that they went missing for some time before that, leaving Nastajia the effective queen, or at least regent, of the elves.
I give them a 10, however the French and Russian judges only give them a 6.5….something odd there. Hehe.
When Paddington launched her, I was expecting a DragonAge-esque landing on the cave troll to save her father, but this is good too!
Rest easy Scott and Tracy, and we’ll see you again in a week.
I see Nas has been taking Legolas lessons 😀
It’s part of the magic of kid friendly comics, I’d guess. That magic probably isn’t nearly as costly as you’d think. 😛
Holy crow, Tracy! You’re so close to having this done! You’ve been a wonderful addition to the Dreamland team, and I’m glad you’re getting this week to get it all wrapped up. 🙂
Unless it was Legolas who was taking Nastiana lessons.
… Nastajia …
kekekeke. this made me happy.
don’t really know what a gatotsu is but i do know that she just pulled a Logan fast ball special ( marvel comics wolverine gets chucked at an enemy by an ally with super strength usually colossis. He stabs the target and moves on.
The queen reminds me more than a little of Princess Peach from the Super Smash Bros. series.
Am I the only one who had toe double-back at “end of the book”? I can’t believe it’s coming so close.
Except she’s not in a different castle.
Of course now is the perfect time to ask… where did Dan and Alex’s mother go?
There was a sale at Walmart, so she stepped out. 😉
As a once upon a time little girl who really hated Looney Tunes because they didn’t make sense, had no real story, and blatantly disregarded how gravity actually worked regardless of how kid friendly government censors considered them, please allow me my delusions of a real magic excuse for this.
There are vertical streaks of light at the ends of their extended hands, so perhaps they are using feather fall.
That last panel has one of the most rare expressions I’ve seen on Nastajia. She’s not angry, sad or astonished. She almost looks relaxed. I wonder if this what she looks like when she’s not carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Looking forward to a new page, the past week without any updates has been keelinggg me I tell you!
Oooh, nice reason. I like you. 😀
