I just gotta wonder whether rescue will come from behind the beast, from behind Gil, or from behind Dan. A good case could be made for any of them, or all three!=)
At least the beast is being decent and choking him rather than simply ripping him open with his claws or snapping his neck. This gives someone a chance to come up from behind and clock him.
Or perhaps Daniel will wake up and fight off that beast, leaving Alex to defeat Gil by himself, which would be nice since we started with Alex.
Dan, stop fooling around. Raise Sword, shout “To the PAIN!”, and run him through.
RE all those saying “Why was he left unguarded?”; remember, originally Niviene was there. And even in her aged condition, and sans staff, she could probably handle any Nightmare Realm beastie. But then Merlin got loose and pulled her to him, and THAT’S when he was left defenseless. It’s Merl’s fault, with a side-order of lack of warning on Niviene’s part to him that the King needed a bodyguard.
It would be so awesome if mom came to save the day. it would help when they have to eventually explain that Alex does indeed live in Dreamland now and didn’t run away to Mexico.
Remember that Dan can wake up at will, due to Niviene’s spell. We will see if Nicole gets there in time so he does not have to.
That seems a bit shortsighted they just left Dan there entirely defenseless. I mean at least he coulda like, closed and locked the door.
Also, done a MUCH better job of securing the villainous monster in the same house?!?
Seems a bit contrived he was left defenseless.
After the previous incident, why was he left unguarded?

I knew something like this would happen…! :O
That is a big understatement in my eyes. That beast should be handled before they did started this invasion. As many others also said on earier page.
Inho. The outcome of next page(s) will tell of Dan die ‘s or not.

we all called it when niviene went bye bye. stupid, selfish merlin/nivnene.

I vote Team Mom, in the bathroom, with a frying pan. KA WHAAAAANG
Where the heck is El Kabong! when you need him?
“Finally, I tear through this cord holding me. It is fortunate, for I sense that a piece of satisfyingly dramatic timing is imminent in Dreamland.”
DANIEL!! D8
No need for a special power to wake up, when someone is strangling you.
That beast shouldn’t be “handled”. It should’ve been beheaded.
Also, Niviene sort of forgot to mention Alex is in dreamland … but that might’ve been on purpose 🙂
Yeah, Mr. Rightful King seems to have lost all of his planning skills all of a sudden.
He did have Niviene with him.
And he dropped the sword of the kings right in front of Gilgamesh. Do I sense an epic sword duel between Gilgamesh and Alex?
Somehow I doubt an 1-inch thick plywood door will be able to stop a nightmare beast.
One more vote for Team Mom, in the bathroom, with a frying pan… 🙂
