Either works of course as the final statement is that they are a type of scum. But is it everyday scum or organic, free-range, premium elf-scum like they sell at the markets with all the crystals and hippies.
As seasoned fighters I would assume Titania and Oberon are keeping in mind the risk of Death From Above, and Abaddon may be in for a bad surprise.
Nicole seems to be joining in the ‘fun’, and doing pretty well. It occurs to me that she is in considerable danger, however. Abaddon may have observed that she and Daniel are pair bonded. If Gilgamesh wants a bargaining chip to use in negotiations with him, grabbing Nicole would be indicated.
She did pretty well against one with a lamp, afterall.
It seems to me that, individually, the nightmare beasts are actually quite frail. They’re only dangerous because they normally come in such large numbers at any given time.
Actually, it should have no hyphen because they are scum made of elves, elf scum, adjective noun. To put a hyphen in it would make it entirely an adjective. So, an elf-scum what? Since that’s an incomplete sentence, it should just be “elf scum.”
ok. just gonna say it. Look up people.
Is anyone else questioning the hyphenation?
To me, it would go something like:
Elf scum = Elves who are scum.
Elf-scum = Scum that is a product of elves.

That’s King and Queen Elf-scum to you!
And technically, not 100% elf, unless they target only the Queen and King 🙂

How can Nicole stop the nightmare beasts with a hockey stick??? :\
Have you seen Canadians waving those sticks? They are quite deadly.

Haha!
Especially when you look at her grip in the 2nd panel. She’s not going to hit very hard when her grip is on the wrong end.

This.
They usually win because of sheer numbers, not individual strength.
Beat me to it!
They’re gonna run out of arrows soon!
Yeah definitely no hyphen.
As a Canadian, I am proud to see the mighty hockey stick in it’s natural habitat, a ruthless fight.
