   I have to agree with the king, but those things are like the Ruby Slippers, now Alex learns that he had it within him all the time.

   That or he dies, which would be sad for everyone.

   Alex does have one special protection left: plot armor. I think he’ll be okay.

    Alex does have Excalibur, which also cuts through anything and is unbreakable and can blind foes. He will also soon have its sheath, which heals poison and wounds and prevents death. His elven armor is still available for pickup, as it is lying where it dropped. And of course he is the Hero with the writer on his side.

    dont be too sure… would if they killed him off just as the part of the ending
    i can see it now!
    *Alex gets wounded*
    alex: “groan”
    enemy: “no so strong now human”
    *enemy raises weapon*
    *alex quickly swings sword and finishes the enemy then collapse in great pain*
    (few minutes later)
    nastajia: “ALEX! stay with me…. you’re gonna be OK just stay with me”
    *she picks him up and runs to PLACE*
    alex: i love you..
    nastajia: i know you do
    nastajia: but please stay with me
    alex: remember when we were kids
    *tears slip out of nastajia*
    nastajia: yes
    alex: just remember thouse times and you will never lose me
    *alex and nastajia kiss*
    *comic pans to the rest of the group in complete shock on seeing alex hurt*
    *alex goes limp*
    nastajia: noooooo!

    ending could be:
    merlin heals him (raises him from the dead)
    or they bury him in dreamland and the ending would be his funeral

    I suppose it’s better to have the actual Excalibur instead of Excalibur Junior (aka EJ). Excalibur was a +10 sword.

    EJ was a nice +4 sword. That could talk.

    You have to remember that Scott began this project as a gift to his kids. It is not going to have a tragic ending.

    Even if Nicodemus did, the armor has survived much more strain from Nicodemus in the past without losing its functionality. The armor should still be fine.

    Wouldn’t more likely outcome of readjusting the comics to older audience more skimpy outfits on Nastajia? 🙂
