I love Felicity’s expression in the 3rd panel, complete with dejected, slightly drooping ears. I was as if to mean “Oh, you mean my kiss wasn’t as good as I thought?” Hehe.
When it comes to the online world, I tend to give people a pass when it comes to the spelling (or even the geographic location) of cities around the world. Ya never know what country other people might be from. The person spelling Houston as Huston might be from another country, like Arkansas or something. 😛
Hm … shouldn’t it be “I know I am a good kisser, but …” ?
Someone tricked us. This IS a kissing story.
This is common phrasing. She means that she already knew about her kissing prowess, but she didn’t know until now that she could make a man faint.
At this point, young Fred Savage would say, “I don’t mind.”
Tablet? Oh yeah, The Tablet! =)
All of a sudden, the question arises in my mind: Does Felicity know how to read Mayan?? She can speak it under stress, but read it?
Huston, we may have a problem.
I forgot all about that thing!

Pray that Felicity is able to read that tablet…!
Houston… not Huston! It’s not Mayan… you should know how to spell the capital of Texas! 😀
And nowit is Felicity’s turn to Save The Day.

“You must read the spell written upon the tablet!”
“Uhhh… it’s all Greek to me.”
“Mayan, actually…”
Austin is the capital of Texas – not Houston. ?
“Oh… Well… About that… Uhhmmm… How do I explain this? That’s not a spell… at least anymore.”
“What?”
“Yeah… You know how sometimes, when you REALLY don’t think an old note is going to be useful anymore, you reuse the paper?”
“Yes…”
“So! Funny story! The Tigrins kinda sorta in a way copied over the spell.”
“THEY DID WHAT?!”
“It’s the recipe for Tigrin Triple Nut Fudge!”
“Why did you bring it with you then?”
“And risk losing the recipe for Tigrin Triple Nut Fudge all over again?! That’s MY heritage!”
Bwahahaha 😀
I blame my fingers. And eyes, can’t leave them out. My brain works, my fingers and eyes don’t do that well together anymore. Old age. (sigh)
So timely (and kindly) of the queen to distract her from her dejection, even if it is about something of far greater importance. =)
Now see, this is why I absolutely gotta read the comments. They’re like extra sprinkles on the frosting. =)
This is my new favorite pairing. So adorable <3
