Now we know how the Scooby gang can get directly to Merlin to rescue his body. There is a portal right next to his tree and all portals connect. (And I suspect the Guardians still have a hidden inactive portal.)
Hold up… I thought Merlin’s body… REAL Body was in Seraphopolis? Or is that just his dreamlander body? But I thought they had found a way for him to come to dreamland? I am SO confused!
Niviene encased his real body into a tree (this is from Arthurian Legend) and his Dreamland body was put to sleep (similar to what Arthur did) in Seraphopolis to get him to Limbo to save Arthur.
The vast horde that is Abaddon split into two different armies. One went towards Astoria to conquer Dreamland; those are the ones who fought the Dwarfs and all, and ultimately ran into Alex and Niviene’s collapsing portal. THAT bunch is all gone. This MAY the other army, the Earth Invasion Force coming in through the portal in Egypt. Or they may be all the Nightmare Realm beings that were marooned on Earth back in the days of Ramses, now gathering in one place in a desperate attempt to kill Merlin before he can kill them. We’ll see.
But I thought that tree was somewhere in England (legendarily), or maybe by the pool back of the boy’s house, and that the gate was in Egypt (or maybe I’m getting confused with Stargate), so how are they in the same place?
True. But as Dan’s map shows, the Portals all over the Earth connect. So if the Abaddon army has started arriving in Egypt, they could funnel through another portal right to this forest (in France, isn’t it?).
The tree is in France. If I understand correctly, the Egyptian gate is THE gate to Dreamland. All other gates can only get you to/from Egypt. The portal in Broceliande (?) France (where the tree is) was on Dan’s map.
