Well, its Dreamland after all, and most things are based on the power of belief. If the children believe that tossing the cannonballs over the edge will cause massive explosions below, then that’s what’s probably going to happen, I guess.
I demand a spin-off: Captain Nastajia and the Child Crew. They travel around Dreamland keeping everyone safe and solving disputes. Villians don’t take them seriously until they see a cannonball thrown by a child with the speed and accuracy of a major league pitcher. Nick concedes to keep Dreamland open to children after the kids beat the crap out of him.
Yep… the lore of the world pretty clearly establishes that belief and courage go hand in hand where powers come into play… and that doubt and fear are their polar opposites, stripping a human visitor of any powers they may or may not have had. The kids aren’t afraid any more, and they’re simply having fun… lacking that fear that would prevent them from doing amazing things in Dreamland.
Wait till you see the ale.
Awww the kids are so cute fighting the big bad nightmare monsters.
And you guys thought they were firing canons. LoL Nope. Just tossing the canon balls over the edge!

Yaaas!! 😀

The idea of firing cannons was closer than the idea of sabotage.
