I also wonder how they’re going to follow Abaddon when Abaddon went underwater. Can the boat do that, or will they just follow on the surface, or abandon ship, find merpeople for a kiss, and swim in pursuit? Orion in mer-form would be… interesting…

(biologically speaking centaurs make my brain twitch because they’d have double of every organ ((unless the human body is filled with the organs and the horse body is filled with…nougat or something…)))
Or all of their organs are like 50% bigger than a horse since they have about that much more body. Then the arrangement of the organs would likely be different as well.
Still better that mermaid, which traditionally consist of half fish (cold blood) and half human (mammal, warm blood) and usually can breathe underwater (dolphins can’t).
