Why don’t they just go incorporeal? Wasn’t that a big selling point for being a nightmare guy when they were in the Tigrin pyramid? Or are there different categories of bad guys here?
Ah you’re mistaken there, those were Wraights. The ones here are just part of the hive-mind creatures from the nightmare realm. That means they cant do as you suggest.
I’m rather convinced that she didn’t really trick them though. if there is one place this legendary plant can stay hidden, it would be right there in that cave, guarded by all the sea serpents!
How’s our beloved mermaid doing though…? she OK? 🙁
They don’t.. now do they? Usually it’s them talking to a different person. And because they all think the same thing, they speak with different mouths, just because they can. Also because it creates a cool way of talking. If you didn’t know about it, and people around you would start and do this, wouldn’t that be kind of creepy? And that’s what the nightmare creatures are for in the first way, making children scared 🙂
Niviene wanted to face the sea monsters as God intended. Sportsman like. No tricks. Skill against skill alone. Sea serpents hunt, she sneaks around, grabs the flower, and leaves. The creatures screwed up when they volunteered to go with her.
My feelings about Niviene are mixed, but she is okay, right?
I think she did that on purpose, personally. Thanks for the response! If there was clarification on the different types of nightmare guys, I probably read it 10 years ago 🙂
No, they can not. The wraiths on Earth have been stuck there since the time of Ramses II. They can communicate with those in Dreamland, but they can’t travel between the worlds.
wow! even worse than the Kraken!
The fish are really biting in Dreamland…

Yay! Serves him right and I hope it hurt.
Now the question is, how much magic can Niviene work without her staff?

The latter. Wraiths can become one with the shadows and move interdimensionally. Normal Nightmare Realm beasties are much more limited.
tch, don’t you just hate it when your lunch tries to escape?
Maybe… but don’t you just love it when your food gets served to you before you realize how hungry you are?
awww, Abaddon’s happy feeling gone
Oh, yes. Good old Salami Serpents we’ve met before.

I can’t imagine she tricked them xD they went willingly to their own death. lol

Do I spy a Finding Nemo reference?
Went insistently, even. She may have bluffed them into going with her, but that’s kinda their fault.
There’s always a bigger fish.

Aww, you beat me to it…
Does the hive mind get less stupid when there’s fewer nodes?
I do believe you are both correct. This probably is the right place, but that doesn’t mean volunteering to go first wasn’t a deliberate Batman Gambit.
Wow, first time I’ve seen their speech bubble come from a specific one.
Some prefer fast food.
