I’ve got say, though, this part continues to surprise me. I thought the Rock Giants were largely pacifists who didn’t like hurting even Abaddon. Throwing boulders into Astoria, as long as they didn’t try to hit anyone? OK. Actually throwing boulders to hit? This is something of a change. Maybe this is a more warlike faction of Rock Giants.
And maybe they’ve seen that pacifism will not benefit them or their land right now. 🙂 Maybe they’ve been pushed past their breaking point…like the Ents.
Hah! My brother showed me this website a few years ago. Yesterday it came to my mind… And I read it whole in two days. 😀 I got really hooked. But I didn’t expect the story is not over yet… And now I have to wait. D:
But I was happy when I saw the style has changed. ^^’
As I went through this so fast I didn’t really follow people’s predictions… And I couldn’t stop thinking myself how it is going to end.
I was suprised to see how badass Dan can be in the Dreamland… He’s way more confident here than in real life. But that makes sense. Anyway, it sounded like he wasn’t telling his brother the whole truth. Because there was some purpose behind writing down his stories.
I suppose in the end everyone is going to be happy for peace and Dan as king, but I couldn’t believe Alex is gone from Dreamland forever.
But then I thought…
if they find Arthur, they also find the amulet, riiight? 😀 Merlin will do too, he probably knows how to recreate it. ( ‘-‘)
I wouldn’t be suprised if someone made that point earlier, but I still wanted to share.
I strongly encourage you to make a second pass through the archives when you have time, reading the comments as you go. We have a singularly friendly community here, who often have remarkable insights (and incredibly witty puns) to offer. And, of course, our beloved author Scott is one of the nicest guys in the webcomic world, and he’s often active in the comments.
The rock giants are coming!
“You can see giant eagles dropping the rock giants”.
I see what you did there. 🙂

Bognok shouldn’t take their help for granite.

Either way, no explanation has been given so far.
…but he’s got rock solid evidence they’re trying to help. He’d have to be stoned not to realize their change of min(e)d.

They certainly seem to be beating the schist out of Abaddon.
😉

What does that even mean?
Is this one of those weird american things that I’ll never get?
