These guys? Of all the possibilities I did not see this coming. Time to kick some butt.
Uh oh……..
Is this one of the reasons Nick made Felicity his prisoner? Did he realize how important she was?
Ooh. I like that theory.
Don’t say ‘exterminate’, guys. A Police Public Call Box may show up, and you sure as Nightmare Realm won’t like the consequences.
+1 – “Uh-oh …”
o.O Well. This was unexpected.
Oh dear…this does not bode well…
And how did the wraiths not know about Felicity? She was working for Nic for a while, and unless he just overlooked mentioning her race to them in all of the muss and fuss of recent events it seems weird for them to be surprised by this.
LOL! Actually, if that would happen, I’d definitely want them to keep using that word. 😛
Secrets within secrets. Always make sure that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is planning.
unless Nick hid that little “fact” from them for insurance purposes?
Nice twist here! =)
Earlier, it was suggested that these shadow wraiths were incapable of navigating through the deadly traps. I guess they’re working off bad intel.
“Incapable of navigating” doesn’t mean they didn’t try. Just that they tried and got lost.
Furthermore, if these two had been lost for a while, they might not be part of the faction that was working with Nic. They probably got lost before that little alliance happened.
Zoinks!
“Piece of Cake” … famous last words!
I’m glad someone pointed that out. We should have known better, though, since wraiths can move through shadows, and shadows are abundant in this temple.
That being said, I did NOT see this coming. 😀
Exterminated the tigrin? They’re… dead? Her entire kind is extinct?
Also, yeah. I didn’t see them coming.
If you turn on the Lights will they disappear? 🙂
Hmmm, this appears to be a rather uncomfortable predicament. I mean, you’re stuck in a small stone room with some dudes that just materialized out of the walls, claiming to have killed all of your kin.
Do you:
1) Kick them in the hood and make a break for it?
2) Stab them with your magical sword?
3) Say a witty comeback and hope they cry?
‘Oh is thát the reason I never saw one of my kind? Ohhh, you’re só gonna pay for this! You know that?! You know’ *is beating them very much* ‘that?!’
How doe she feel, having never seen someone of her own kind?
Also, I like this theory you’re suggesting…
Is Nicodemus really ‘bad’ or also a little good, because he knows her value?
that’s what he said…
I hope Felicity can kick their butts!
Shadow wraiths! When was the last time we saw those guys?
And here I’ve been playing DOOM II…
Why navigate the deadly traps when you can just phase through the walls to get around them? But I have a feeling that the wraiths are limited in their physical abilities. They can mess people up through magic and energy, but doing much about anything physically is a problem. So perhaps they could access the heart of the temple, but they could not extricate anything physical back through the gauntlet to their physically-inclined cohorts.
Felicity: Enough of your logical fallacies! Stone hunks – ATTACK!! >:=)>
It’s a trap!
…just like the stone statues that attacked her
They used the shadows to pull the portal out of Seraphopolis. I don’t think removing physical objects is a problem for them.
Re-rendering a panel.
May be a couple more hours. Sorry for the delay.
Didn’t come out the way YOU wanted it?
Let’s not forget that they physically stabbed the centaur chief who was assisting Arthur with his ritual in the Tomb of Ancient Kings.
No. The raytracing was off. Silly me.
ditto
The cake is a lie.
…what??
It is in the nature of people to witness ruthlessness and brand it as “evil”.
Nico was never meant to be one of those pointless cartoon villains that trashes things and gloats for the evulz … He is and was the sort of personality who has seen the nature of the world and realised that the ends justify the means… that you cannot win without sacrifice, and sometimes suffering is the price of staying alive and relatively safe.
