So, Baltimore Comic Con was fantastic! Donna and the boys came with me this year and we did a lot of fun things.
The fans were amazing and it was an honor to be a guest again this year at probably the best con I’ve ever been to.

These pages lately have been less than stellar and I just can’t seem to get them right.
I’m pushing myself through it… but it’s hard to post these pages each day knowing they could be better.
I don’t know why they’re giving me such trouble… but please be patient with me while I push through these next 4 days.

I think you’re having that lull right before the big ta da… you’re almost there but there’s that one little spot that always hangs up the story. I think Stephen King wrote an article about it and getting over it, but my mind’s drawing a blank…
tl;dr, just push through it. it’s the last false wall before breaking through to the end. You can always adjust it later but just Get It On The Page for now. *pat on back*

Also, Scott, i hate to jump on the “don’t get it bandwagon”, but i can’t tell where Nastajia is jumping to in panel 3 and how she got where she is in panel 4. based on her positioning in panel 3, she’s going to face-plant into the pillar-thing, but in 4, she’s landed on top of it.
Don’t be afraid to take a day off to make sure the pages are how you want them.

in panel 4 it looks like she is hanging/grabbing on the side of the wall. Just my perspective
Ooooh, that didn’t even occur to me. For some reason i thought we were seeing Nastajia from directly above. Panel 4 makes a lot more sense now, thanks.
I’m a little color blind so I totally missed the hair color till you said something. Very cool. From a multi-generational DC reading household perhaps?
And uh-oh, is Nastajia going to be one jump ahead of a domino effect?
If Nicodemus caught up to Nastajia and she demanded to know where Alex is,I’m sure he’ll feed her a lie by saying, “He’s abandoned you! You’ll never see each other ever again!” She’d refuse to believe it until he spouts the real truth and boy that’ll get her clams steamed!
I wonder if this will start a domino effect, with Nastajia running along the tops of the fallign dominos? ^^;
Yeah! If he’s got any sense he’ll avoid her. Well, that’s if he’s got the kind of “sense” that leads to getting things his own way.
The last few pages made sense to me. I figured the skeletons were pushing and hacking at the rock she was on (I went with the sound effects) and then as her rock fell, she leapt to a nearby, larger rock.

Yet another dwarf: That’s nothing! See that mighty boulder? *swings war hammer* Rubble! Even cracked the ground underneath!
Dwarf captain: Huh! Stop messing around, brothers, AND STAND ASIDE! *swings war hammer into ground, jumps back as ground cracks and falls away* Now that left a mark!
Dwarf King: Hey, nightmares, my brother dwarves don’t think very much of your terrain… Wanna negotiate a surrender while you still have some of it left?
Now she has a crack at getting away safely.
