Page 1695…
Happy Wednesday all!
Sorry again about this page being a day late. I had a heck of a time getting these skeletons built, rigged, and armed for this page.
Funny thing is. I created an entire army of them…and you don’t really even see them on this page…ugh.
Anyways. Thanks for your patience!
Scott
You just had to ask, didn’t you?
Where’s a mace when you need it?
Careful what you say. Sarcasm can be deadly. Ha!
Oh dear! If these guys are anything like some of the skeletons in the games my husband plays, they won’t be easy to kill (though they’ll be fairly easy to temporarily dismantle). O_O
Oooohh…shades of Jason and the Argonauts!
“It could be worse; at least it isn’t raining…”
So Scott, you quit the “dwarfing”, where you reuse the same character multiple times to create a crowd? We wouldn’t have a hard time accepting that all the skeletons look the same. But maybe you did? Because they DO look the same…
*rumble, K-bam!, drench-drench-drench* “…”
That last panel is golden, Staj’s ‘sigh’ says so much about her character, and her strength and style as well.
“This is going to be one long, LONG walk…” ^_^
A tribute to Ray Harryhausen?
She has GOT to stop with the “famous last words” stuff. I mean, what is next? “It can’t get any worse than this?”
I’m sure that what she *wanted* to say had most of the same letters as in the last panel. Just, y’know, change the G to a T and the rest will fall into place. 😉
Yeah, I think that’s about right for the sentiment behind the sigh. A groan would have meant about the same. A sense of annoyance at having carelessly invoked Murphy’s Law.
I can almost hear her say “I’m going to count to ten, you’d best be out of my way before then.”
After the sigh I could just hear Fezzik coming up and saying, “Everybody out of the way!” then motioning for her to proceed him.
“…armed…” HAHAHA! Was that pun intended, Scott?
I don’t think they have the guts to attack.
I dunno, I think she might be boned.
