   Wouldn’t part of being King of Dreamland mean following his own heart and making his own decisions instead of doing whatever someone else wants him to do? Also, the nightmare realm having a portal to earth is a serious threat, Nastajia is a capable warrior, and this is a mission where a small team is better than a huge army.

   They don’t have to take it. They just have to damage it enough so Abaddon can’t use it to invade Earth immediately. Then, before he can have it repaired, they come back with armies and assault forces and destroy it permanently.

   Although at that point they COULD take it…

   If the king and queen approved of it however, while she might still have reservations due to it not being entierly “proper”, and might say something to them along the lines of “are you sure about this?” I imagine she’d go along with it in the end as it came from them directly, rather then just (as it probably appears to her right now) simply them deciding “meh, let’s just make alex king, screw dan.”

   Except that they don’t have any idea where it is. Not a great plan to just go wandering around the Nightmare Realm, hoping to come up on the portal.

   I love these kids but jeesh…terrible reason to take on a kingship. I mean…how many of us would want to marry someone if it would require being president of the United States.

    Aw, man, I’m right in the area and I can’t go. >_< Not enough time to plan. Perhaps another year.

    By the way, Alex's facial expressions over the last couple pages have been some of the best! He looks so sweet.

    In a comment that is neither here nor there, I have started listening to the audiobooks of “The Dresden Files.” I can’t help but imagine Harry Dresden looking like an older version of Daniel.
