Page 1577…
Hi all!
My apologies. Thursday and Friday’s page will not happen this week due to a relatively last minute business trip.
It’ll be exciting news about an upcoming project… so, hopefully I’ll be able to mention it on Monday.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s pages… and wanted to thank you all again for your support on our Kickstarter this year.
Thanks to you… it’s our most successful ever.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend.
See you on Monday!
Scott
And then they were all crushed to death.
The End.
Scott, best wishes for your business trip. All goes well if the monies run well and then Dreamland can continue without hassel or worry. 😉 Stay safe. Besides, tha big guy gotta get a biiiig hankie, else he gonna soak everyone else with eye-pee. ^^
Kiwi is a facehugger!
Awwww…this was sweet. 🙂 It’s nice to see Nastajia step outside of her “tunnel vision, must save my parents” focus in order to embrace her friends like this. 🙂 Lately she’s felt like a…well…not a robot, since she’s been so emotional, but someone with a one-track-mind…someone who would be so intent on her goals that instead of saying goodbye like this, she’d wave over her shoulder without looking back before taking off from the balcony. It’s good to see that she’s not that lost in her intensity. 🙂
BAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
^this
I hope your trip is productive, Scott! Good luck with it!
It doesn’t look like we’re going to get that cool Frank Cho poster from kickstarter. Is there any other way I can get it?
…Heheheheh.
Cute fairy hug. 🙂
Next, Alex engages Paddington in a super-strength hug … entirely forgetting the wings on his back, which are totaled by the embrace.
😉
Group hug! 😀
You know… there is a REALLY good reason why Paddington was the first to become a plush doll. Though he’s large and made of solid rock, he really is just a softy.
I was thinking, maybe if you combined the 20K push goal with the 15K, it might get people more exited. Most all the push goals sound exiting but not the 15K, and I was thinking that that might be why the support is slow?? idk. Or you could take it out entirely and drop all the other push goals by 5K? Or a switch? Idk I just thought the 15K push goal might be why support is slow (also besides the fact the goal has been reached). Just trying to help.
Hopefully Alex will stop him by pointing out the wings on his back! 😉 🙂
Very touching the first panel… 🙂
poor kiwi and paddington.:-(
All together, now:
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww…..
Don’t break the wings!
Oh for- great, now we’re gonna be seeing a little alien pop outa Nastajia’s chest in a few deays. Just great.
And my thoughts on Paddy’s hug… “RUN, ALEX! RUN!”
Everybody mentions Alex’ wings….buuuuut… He can fly, and pretty well by now too.
So.. Why the wings?
Well.. I guess it’s a case of “because they look cool! (and they took forever to rig correctly…)”
No argument from me there.
Well the wings help you fly higher. That is why they had to take the stones up vs just flying up themselves. So wherever he is headed, he will need to wings to get there or start his journey.
I assumed the wings permitted flight in general, independents of Alex’s magical ability to fly. After all, the Guardians use them to fly, and they are just regular humans, not even dreaming humans like Alex.
Third Panel…. Perfect!
they are up so high were no one can reach by flying remember???
For some reason the wings make me think “Legend of Dragoon”. ^_^
This has got to be the worst weekend cliffhanger ever! Five days until we get to find out whether Paddington starts crying. Five days until we find out if he gets his hug. Five days until we find out if Alex’s armor can withstand the crushing force of a hug from an overly-emotional rock giant. I don’t know if I can stand the suspense! *dies*
*goes to vote*
Ummm… Am I the first to notice or comment? I’m about to leap out of my chair and start squealing like a little kiddie in the ice cream parlor that gets to try all the chocolate flavors.
KICKSTARTER OVER 15,000! We get the coolest, most awesome push prizes.
“I NEED A HUG” may be the most frightening words, taken in context here, ever spoken in this comic.
But flying up to there, and flying down from there are two very different beasties.
Alex: “There’s a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. It would be a pity to damage hers.”
Buttercup she ain’t.
