To be honest I was thinking she wold pull him in and try to drown in the last update, as in the old tails.
That is what I was thinking – the sword belongs to the rightful king. Pardon the pun, but something seems fishy here.
It can’t be a personal item. I suspect it’s something of Arthur’s that Merlin gave her, and which she is now going to give to Daniel as the true King of Dreamland. That would be a stunning gift from Dan’s point of view…
That the Lady of the Lake is a mermaid is probably a major shock to Daniel and Nicole.
ANTICLIMATIC!! C’mon, Scott! Give us just a little messed-up-ness. I mean, she seems to be truly honored to be in his presence. She seems to be ligitimately nice. NOT COOL, MAN! Not. Cool. But that smug look on Daniel’s face? Yeah. That’s cool. Like an, “I told you so.” But I do wonder whathe’ll come back with. Perhaps the boxed set of the tv series, “Merlin”?
At least some one besides Alex, now recongizes Dan as the rightful King. Personally, I think the Princess will be a bit more put out by this than Alex.
I think so too… but because if Dan becomes King, Alex probably won’t be able to come back to dreamland. Alex can only get to dreamland when he wares the sword, it the sword belongs to the king, and Dan is king….
that look on Nicole….. almost looks like she is getting jealous a bit of the mermaid. about to give Dan a piece of her mind! LOL

That’s just it. Dan is not looking at Nicole, he’s looking at the water. But Nicole has largely been ignoring the magical creature from Dreamland and has been watching Dan and his reactions instead.
I think Nicole is much more conscious of what Niviene is implying, namely Dan seizing control of the throne.

I may have missed it, but has Nicole acknowledged the mermaid? Perhaps she doesn’t see the mermaid? Perhaps she is wondering who Daniel is talking too?

Hmm. Now it starts to become suspicious when Niv did not reply to the princess when she asked if she was sure the spell would protect Alex.
I rather hope that the drama is in the situation and not that the mermaid cannot be trusted. It’s looking fun, though the dark panels are a little hard to see on my screen. Which stands to reason, being night, but otherwise, I am very much enjoying the story.
Nicole hasn’t spoken to Niviene, but she has looked right at her (and has been pointing her flashlight the correct direction, even before Dan approached the water). *shrugs* I’d guess she doesn’t have anything to say, or is too dumbfounded. 🙂
I agree. I don’t want Niviene to be a “bad guy.” I’m hoping that the sinister feelings everyone else seems to feel are because they are far more accustomed to the darker, more adult themed stories (as opposed to this one which is kid friendly).

Hi, I actually had my antivirus protect me from a Trojan (the “Internet Secury” virus) relatively recently (in the past month) when I went to TDC. Some of the ads must have viruses in them 🙁
I wish I could remember which ad it was, but it was a couple of weeks or so ago. It put an icon on my desktop and tried to get me to install a bogus “virus scanner,” and this all happened just from clicking the link to TDC in my bookmarks list.
I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. 🙁 Maybe someone else had the same thing happen to them who has a better memory for what ads were on-screen at the time.

Y’know, I’ve heard that show is good, but I’ve never been able to give it a shot since it varies so far from the arthurian legend that I know I’d spend the whole time thinking, “That’s not how it’s supposed to be…”

I had one appear, too, but I never figured out how I got it. Maybe it was one of the ads….Hmm. Luckily, my virus protection caught it. It was a Trojan as well, but I can’t remember anything about it. My history file has overwritten itself by now, so I won’t be able to go back to find out what it was.

Scott, I’m not sure what the issue is either, but the same trojan/website blocked message pops up even if I try to go into your store site from the DL comic site. It seems like my antivirus doesn’t like something about the base bluedreamstudios website. Even if I believed the threat wasn’t real, I’m not sure how to actually force my browser to go to the page anyway, my antivirus just pretty much blocks it.
at least you get something cute. I always get the freaky eyeball. ;P
