LOTS of grass and trees. So the renders have been taking a bit longer.
Thanks for your patience.

Great facial expressions, Scott.
Yea, but her eyes still freak me out!!!!
Fascinating character!!!
That’s quite a drop off in that pond!
Lol, I love how she was afraid that he’d run away, when she’s the one that actually runs away XD I guess it’s sorta true that we tend to imagine other people’s situation, especially people that we don’t know very well, through our own experiences/personality. Once, I asked for directions from a woman who just came from a mall. She said “just go *back* into the mall and…. etc. etc.” If she stopped to think for a moment, it’d be quite obvious that I came from the opposite direction and probably did not just come from the mall….
I’m getting serious visions of Ariel right about now. 🙂
Must be the red hair and the tail. LOL
I like how you zoomed in on his eyes in the first panel and how wide her eyes are in the second panel.
The whole page has such a wonderful charm about it!
Talk about first meetings! Fun story turning out to be, this is.
I love how he’s dipping his fingers into the water on the second panel. It’s almost like he’s doing it unconsciously as he leans in closer to try and get a good look at her. Nice detail.
Nah, not Ariel because she is, according to my nieces, of the Disney generation of Perfect Hair. They are looking forward to the movie Brave because Princess Merida has ‘real, if ginger, hair’. 😀
per-chance could this be a young merlin? and is it he who taught her magic?
I still think its Arthur merlin has red eyes but arthur gray like this fine young man:) what dou you think?:P
Scott, the only thing you do better than a climax is an anti-climax. Well done.
Merlin and Nimue had a… fling in the legends.
Lol. That’s one way to put it.
that staff the magician has (Merlin?) is the one that Niviene uses a few pages back. I’m totally stoked that something other than the shaman bag seems to be passable to/from Dreamland.
He has impeccable vision, of course, because spellcasting is based on the mental stats, which more often than not coincide with what effect the perception stats. Also, the pretty lady radar is most certainly active for a man of that age, no matter if it’s Arthur or Merlin.
