Page 1400…
WOO!
We made it for another 100 pages!
Thank you all for reading along for another 100 pages.
I hope you continue to enjoy the story!
Another reminder…for this week only…if anyone buys Books 1-4 from the store…you get a FREE copy of BOOK FIVE!
http://bluedreamstudios.com/store.html
That’s any of the 3 specials. Books 1-4, Books 1-4 and Paddington, Books 1-4 and everything else.
ANY of those combinations…I’ll throw in a copy of Book Five…FREE.
The books come in some time this week (Book Five, I mean) and I was thinking this would be a great way to have a special for those who don’t have the books (and who didn’t participate in the Kickstarter).
Sound good?
Boy.. the dejected look on Nastajia’s face… It appears to be another dead end.
the way he said Fairy Tale..sounds like a hint to go talk to the Fairies
Well, if you’re going to search for a fairy tale, being an elf princess in mermaid city would seem to be a good place to start.
A fairy tail you say? Need I remind you that your a merman, and king of the merpeople, living in a lake that a few days ago a dragon fell in to and your telling an elf princess she is looking for a fairy tail. Yeah, I am going to let Alex explain to him what is wrong with that statement.
The king’s comments for some reason remind me of that one exchange from Firefly. “That sounds like something out of science fiction!” “We live on a spaceship, dear.”
He knows more, way more. You can tell by the look in his eyes.
Right now I’m hoping for a “Alex don’t just tell the legends, he puts them to the test” 😛
*grins* this is where everyone looks to Kiwi to see where her tail has gone 😉
uhhuh… They said the same about King Arther too… look were that got us.
Love those luminous eyes in the first panel. Sigh.
The bowstring appears to be missing in panels 2 and 3, and looks out of place in panel 4.
So where do Dreamland children go when they go to sleep? Definitely sounds like another alternate universe.
Keep in mind that for the mer-king, all that’s normal. Hardly even worth talking about. Niviene the unaging mermaid who had Merlin as her boy-toy: THAT’S a story too outrageous to be believed…
I wonder where they’re going to find her…
There certainly seems to be something afoot, which is odd since they all have tails at the moment… Curses! Foiled again! Fool Logic continues to fail me!! 🙁
I get the feeling he knows more, and is either giving some subtle hint to talk to fairies or just flat out denying.
perhaps nicodemus still lives, but why would the mermaids side with him if he was….?
something’s fishy here to say the least… (pun intended)
Oh dear Kingy…it’s unfortunate when you’re wrong. 🙂 Although, I can see how the story he told could be written off as legend…especially since only the King of Dreamland can make it into Dreamland as an adult. How on earth did Merlin or whatever other wizard manage to get there and chat up Niviene??
He said he’d help if there was even a kernel of truth…is this where Alex starts reciting the tales of the Lady of the Lake that are known in his world?? Maybe the mer-king is more of a gatekeeper for Niviene to keep out the obnoxious fans. 😛
Don’t worry, it’s never really just a legend. They’ll find her. 🙂
Legends always have some kernel of truth. They just don’t have records of such, it seems.
Brings up another question….We know that Merlin interacted with Arthur, does this mean that the Lady of the Lake is also from another world like Arthur and Merlin?
Perhaps the Lady of the Lake is in a coma in this world and lives eternally in Dreamland.
…Fairy tale? Really?
I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but to most humans, you’re ALL fairy tales.
I’d rather look for a fairy tale in Dreamland than a fish tale. Knowing how exaggerated those stories of “the one that got away” can grow.
Of course, if she were a fish tail, all they would have to do is look behind them . . .
🙂 😀
It does sound as if there are other ways to enter dreamland besides the sword…
Is it just me or does it seem like Nastajia’s having a father-daughter moment here?
Wow! Just stumbled across this comic. Beautiful work!
congratulations, Scott ^^
First thought,
Take us to your leader.
Win!
pfff..right, and being in a dream world underwater talking to a mermaid king isn’t?
Thank you!
And welcome to Dreamland.
Ooh, good reference, sirbacon!
Improbable stories told by the descendents of tree climbing monkeys who live on an advanced bio-geological machine hurtling through space at thousands of kilometers per hour around a gigantic burning ball of gas? Never gonna happen.
