Happy Monday!
Should be a fun week this week. So I hope you come back each day and follow the story.
🙂
Also…still doing paintings…if any of you are interested.

And cut to them doing something silly.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Narrative convention demands it!
Suuuuure they are!
Prudent and logical? Them? RIIIIIIGHT!
Does this mean that next comic will be Kiwi, Paddington and Felicity goofing off?
Wow. When she tempts fate, she doesn’t exactly do it halfway…
When it comes to Nastajia, getting dressed is the only thing she does halfway.
fwooosh
“And now over to something completely different…” ;P
I dunno, maybe Scott will defy convetion and have a 4-panel search montage up next? 😀
I guess she’s just being queenly. It’s important to show confidence and organization when you’re in a position of leadership. Also allows you to shift the blame easily.
Beside, the emphasis she puts on the “no” seems very ironical. I’m sure she knows exactly how prudent and logical would be a pixie, a catgirl and a pet rock aboard a seized pirate ship.
Of course, I always see elves as highly passive-aggressive anyway, so maybe the snark I perceive in her word isn’t intended to be there.
Dang… I was thinking the same thing.
I like how she says “I have no doubt” rather than “I am certain”.
If she has no doubt that they are doing something, she either knows for sure they’re doing it…
OR she knows for sure they AREN’T doing it!
(ok, I am nitpicking and I know what the phrase usually means)
also, any perceived innuendo is completely unintentional…
“… A prudent and logical plan…” A few hundred miles away, they’re seeing who can hold their breath the longest.
I just realized Nastaljia’s outfit is not at all designed to deal with the elements when flying at high speeds or high altitude. The last splash panel is what really highlighted the issue for me. In all seriousness there’s enough cleavage that at speeds above 15 kph whistling should start occuring…lol while flying above “Staj,..whats that noise?” …whhooooooooeeeeeiiiiiiiii….
I am seriously expecting the next panel to be Kiwi and Felicity fighting over the controls of the airship. Hilarity ensues.
And of course, next panel we see will be them not knowing what to do.
Sorry…today’s page HAD to be this obvious for the hilarity that ensues this week.
There was no subtlety to this joke.
🙂
Excellent! I love it when hilarity ensues!! 🙂
Just makes us anticipate the hilarity that much more!! 😀
Of all the prudent and logical people left on board the ship only Kiwi can fly by herself. This makes me sort of nervous.
Indeed! I’m looking forward to seeing what crazy/silly shenanigans Felicity and company are getting up to! 😛
Well, THIS is ominous foreshadowing!
I wonder how badly Kiwi, Felicity, and Paddington could be screwing up. I guess we’ll see.
I was rather expecting a third pane with alex falling out the sky laughing. or a pane of them looking at each other followed by a pane with alex going Yeah, Right.
Que the bickering, pirate talking Kiwi, the brickering, whining Felicity and the “I’m staying out of this” Paddington
I think we all are!
Famous last words. XD

Okay my prediction is they will be forcing each other dress up as pirates, to walk the plank, swab the deck and other pirate nonsense. I mean come on its Kiwi, Paddington, and Felicity on a sky-pirateship what else are they going to do?
Pay attention, kids. That’s called ‘foreshadowing’. In this case, it will be shown to be ironic.
“Foreshadowing. Your clue to quality literature.” – Bloom County.
That goes without saying. Felicity might have some sense to do so, but if its a flying city it might not be in the same place all the time.
My guess on what happens next is Kiwi rearranging the furniture and picking out colors for walls. She is a interior decorator by profession, isn’t she.
Oh, awesome Batman painting Scott =)
This is a good page. In the first panel it kind of looks like Alex is lifting Nastaljia up. It’s cute. How did you decide upon the names of your characters, Scott? Did you need to think of them for a while or did they just come to you? I ask simply because I write sometimes myself and ponder over the names for a while. ^_^ You are doing a great job and I come by to see the new page nearly every day.
Well my guess was wrong. But it would on been cool if it happened. €^)
If he did, the last panel would be Alex and Nastajia with Nastajia saying, “Like that.”
I’m guessing well see Felicity, Kiwi and Paddington on shore, looking out at a burning ship in the distance.
