Unfortunately, if she ever does make it to the waking world, the only dating possibility will be “anime convention” since that’ll be the only place where her appearance won’t stand out too much. 🙂
Or maybe she could use the “Spock headband” approach of to disguise herself?
No headband’s going to be able to cover up THOSE ears. Or that purple hair. Or the fact that her gloves are permanently welded to her hands.
I don’t know. This feels like foreshadowing to me. But that’s just a unsupported hunch.
I support your hunch. That would be the ultimate happy ending (or a ton of hijinks!) Either way, I would so love to see that happen.

Can I be picky and point out that Nastajia’s head seems a bit too large next to Alex?
all of a sudden… Natasha is in the waking world! all due her saying she wished and alex wishes she would to that be the perfect wtf moment if they woke up next to each other..
I’m not sure. On one hand I want to say “You got it!” based on “why else would Scott bring this up?” On the other hand, Scott hasn’t shown Alex’s parents, nor given name to them–much less shown that they play a role or have distinct personalities. Which makes me think they kind of don’t matter too much to the story.
…Unless I’m entirely blanking on a chapter. Which could be possible.
A lot of people color their hair these days. Purple being one on the colors.
That’s the drawback of being a ruler – the job never stops. Hmmm. If Alex is taking a summer break… does this mean he got enough course credits to stay in school?
Alex is going to end up casting the spell that allows humans to go to dreamland that Aruthur was working on but in reverse so Nastajia and Kiwi and Paddington can come to earth.
I had some thoughts about Nastajia’s statement and wondered how Dan,Nicole,his cousin and mother would react to her?
Her BIG hair, and the shadow covering part of her face, may be making her head look too large…
Or it might be her head IS larger than Alex’s. We see them very close together so seldom, it’s hard to tell…
We saw his Mom last time they went home for summer break.
I suspect foreshadowing here, too. It would explain the picture of Merlin that started this chapter. Merlin was supposed to be very long lived; he might still be around. And capable of opening a door between the waking world and Dreamland…

well, now that Nicole is Dan’s girlfriend, i’m sure he got the extra credit he was initially seeing her for.
Dan is very open minded, but not only that he grew up hearing about her his whole life, so I think his reaction would be more “Finally” Nichole, was skeptical in the beginning, but now she remembers her youth and being in dreamland and all it’s people, so for her it’s simply just meeting a new friend. their mother, now her character has not been explored enough to get a good feel.
So will Nicole follow them home for summer break, or do we get to see more of Cousin Joey?

And, yes, the ears might stand out a bit, but the hair is a BIT less weird nowadays. I can’t imagine how terrible it would be to be caught between worlds. Loving people on both sides, wanting to stay with them, but not being able to. Poor Nicole and Felicity, Nastajia and Alex.

You think past kings have had wives in both the waking world and dream world? Rather easy to live a double life when your two lives have absolutely no chance of overlapping with each other.
Actually, I envision something like Alex somehow being “banished” from Dreamland, walking around campus moping and bumping into this really cute new girl… only to have it be Nastajia who was granted a “real” life.

King Arthur? most likely not; his legend probably would have been much different if so.
Alex? He’s probably gonna be a one ship man. I mean, just look at how he treats Nastajia!
Nastajia will be stiff but nervous, but with help from Dan and Nicole, will lighten up a bit.
I’m thinking that if Dan is openly and freely dating Nicole, and isn’t worried about his parents’ reaction, they’ll be more accepting of Nastajia than most of us think. If they’re okay with Dan dating Nicole, then they’ll be okay with Alex courting Nastajia.
This was my first page back after a while and uh…seeing Alexander shirtless with Nastajia (who doesn’t look like she’s clothed besides gloves) hugging him kind of scared me!
He’s not shirtless, he’s wearing a tan tee-shirt. She is only hanging on him, she’s not unclothed.

I’ve been out of the loop for a bit – first time seeing any of the pages from this chapter today. Saw the home page and thought, “Is this what it looks like…? I didn’t think Sava would put that in this story.” I read the chapter and was relieved nothing beyond a PG rating happened.
Nastajia’s hot enough that people would get over the apparent nerdiness and/or weirdness of the ears.
