Everyone in Dreamland can NOT fly.
That’s why they haven’t flown anywhere until now.
Alex needed to re-learn flying as humans can “bring others with them” when they fly.

Oh! Here I thought they were walking to be polite. So, human aided flight is a proximity thing? Can Alex power the flight of more people than a child? Makes me wonder if there is a sort of “flight muscle” that can be made stronger, enabling him to power a flying army.

Love the nastalgic start to the new book! It’s nice to see everyone have a moment of happiness and contentment before things get serious again.

Wow… 8 years… that is such a long time. At this rate, the Dreamland Chronicles may as well, celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary. I’m amazed that someone can spend such a long time on a story and still have fun with it. It’s no small feat. 🙂

These last couple of pages, as coming full circle, and as a new beginning, really made me smile. And the lighting is fantastic. Great job, Scott! I would not have thought so with this medium, but I can really see the improvements in your technique!
