Hi all…
So, Tuesday, my computer got a virus.
I had to re-install everything.
Thankfully I didn’t lose any of my files. But it did take up a day to get back to being able to work again.
So, my apologies for not having this page up yesterday.
I should be able to get back up to speed for the rest of the week.

Scott, maybe it’s time for you to get a backup solution going for your work pc. It may not be so lucky next time. Try Rebit, no need for heavy IT knowledge and still have all the features from file history to complete restore.

You could even use windows own backup feature, make a system image. That way, when you load the image the system will be restored completely, including installed programs and everything.
But it looks like a complete copy will be made from your entire hard drive on which the OS resides, so the backup disk has to be big enough.
But about the comic.

Nice to be back for a bit.
But their hands do look about 1,5 times too big.
Large backups -> long times -> greater risk of malware or an intruder destroying the backup as well. And all the undetected malware would also get saved and reinstalled.
I really hope there’s nothing that Nicole can’t fix. I, for one, wouldn’t risk coming to a physician saying, ‘Doctor, I’ve got whacked by a dragon in my dreams, and now my head hurts.’

Here, I took notes for you.” (tosses a clean shirt at Alex and retrieves a stack of paper the size of a phone book form his backpack.) “Oh, and welcome back, Bro.” =)
Yeah Nicole’s reaction to this one is going to be great. Even better if she didn’t believe this stuff yet, but I can just imagine her trying to rush him into a doctor’s office and having no idea how to explain it.
“Uhhh, he fell out of bed. Twice. An hour. From a bunk bed JUST HELP ME OUT.”
Interesting! I think this is the first time we’ve seen that damage done in Dreamland will carry over to Earth. Good thing Alex and Dan WERE able to figure a way out when he and Felicity were falling off the Tower.
And I expect Alex to get hit with dozens of questions from Dan and Nicole within the next few seconds…

I think that’s the one he punched Nic with, I would not be at all surprised if he broke something in that hand.

There was apparently a time skip to keep what Felicity said a secret. More of a surprise.
Actually, that’s not Alex. Its NICODEMUS, who have taken over Alex’s human form on earth. When they were both near death, under the water, Nicodemus used the last of his magic powers to swap their souls.
So Alex is actually at the bottom of the ocean.
Didn’t you even think of why Alex didn’t talk so much in #1294 and #1295?
And why he has bruises in his face, not around his neck, when he wakes up? (Remember, Alex got STRANGLED, Nic got his face beat up)

Incorrect! Alex got his face beat up when Nic was face-pawnching him into the ground. And, He got strangled? Where?
He didn’t talk much because he was probably in a LOT of pain.
Sorry to snazzle your snizzle (damn it I need to stop saying stuff like that >_>) but a few people, myself included, have noticed the Dreamland Alex acting strange for a while now as well. Also, the way Nicodemus looked as they drowned was too secure, too CONFIDENT for him not to have had a plan. It’s as if he was totally okay with drowning, which makes no sense unless he was thinking WAY ahead.
Now, as to what that means, I won’t speculate. But certainly, it would appear all is NOT what it seems. A soul swap would certainly make sense, but I can’t help but feel it might be more complicated than that. 😉
P.S. Glad you got your computer up and running again Scott, viruses are a beach! O_O

dam, i beat he sure feeling those bruises now.
you could have a point there! though alex did get beat in the face by nick, but nick got punched in the face by alex as well. so yeah, nick did not even try to prevent himself from drowning and he did seem too over confident, plus it seemed a little too easy for nast to save alex, surely nick would put up a fight, he was holding alex as they wet down. that would make a very interesting plot twist.
When you have a sword going through the near-heart area, beat up, hit into a building, Shot with arrows, Cut across the chest, and shoved into possibly cold-water that could send someone into a state of shock….
Im pretty sure he wouldn’t put up much of a fight.
How to avoid getting another virus:
Install avast! Free Antivirus.
In the meantime, I recommend getting a backup solution, like those above said. Backup onto an external hard drive all your important data – but I do not recommend a full system image, unless you also have another copy of your data separate; as mentioned, the virus/malware/whatever can get backed up that way, too.
