Actually my biggest concern is now alleviated. Since some Dragons can shape change, what would be better than turning into Alex and still being King. At least we know it’s Alex now, because Nic would never ever kiss Nastajia.
gaaaaaah I squealed when she said “my love”!!! 😀 It’s like that time I found a HUGE Turtle candy in my Easter bag. It’s so exciting and sweet….and delicious!
And then they made babies… right there in the street.
But seriously, I do wonder if it is possible to have a half-elf baby and if so, what would be the dynamics? Would the child be torn between worlds? Would Alex have to stay asleep to keep it alive because the moment he woke up, his genetic material (even his portion of the child long after fertilization) would leave Dreamland?
He fell into a lake, sank below the waves, and apparently released Alex and vanished off-panel. Not to mention that he’s a dragon and we have no idea where his vitals are, or how dangerous the bleeding from his current wounds is. Hollywood tells us that this gives him a 120% chance of survival (the extra 20% is how much stronger the desire for vengeance will make him).
Are they even biologically compatible enough to have a baby? Would it be able to inherit either of their thrones? Do Dreamlanders even have children “that way”, or is there some magic involved?
Heee, happy endings look to be coming at last! I do think Alex might look even cuter if he was looking at Nastajia when he said his line maybe though..? She looked so cool and dramatic swimming down to get him.
as I read this I noticed Nat calls Alex “My Love” and Alex answers her in typical Alex fashion. Now while I agree they both contributed to Nic’s downfall… Nat said she loved Alex and he didn’t reciprocate… do I sense Alex getting his shins kicked in the near future???
Now then,where will our heroes go from there??? Maybe Alex and Nastajia might want some private time together?!? Will her parents turn or are they dead?
Is there a Dreamland version of a home pregnancy test-just in case????
you know all this speculation on is Nic dead just makes me laugh. Nic just got dropped off a cliff after being impaled through the lungs and last we saw of him he was dropping down into the crushing black depths of the Davey Jones locker yes he’s dead. What so many people here seem to forget is this is a fantasy world where magic abounds dead by no means equals gone, whether resurrected back to life or raised into undeath by powerful necromancy; as was said before ‘death is only the beginning’.
Oh by the way that loud snapping sound we all just heard was the sound of Nics sanity shattering to bits. Have fun with that Alex and good luck…you’re SO going to need it.

I could be wrong, but that’s my instincts verdict, and I trust them.
It is possible that Nicodemus’ race is actually symbolic of the trope he personifies. He could be the Big Bad for this story, but if Christian decides to expand the story, he very well could just be the Dragon.
