Hmmm… Nic looks quite determined, like he’s holding his breath and waiting for something or someone. And since he’s looking more down than at Alex, I guess it is not him. So what is he looking for? (Can’t be his pet Kraken, since it “is no more” and he should know by now…)
Alex is looking a lot more solid here than he was before. Not sure if that’s good or bad, but the anticipation is killing me.
I like how Orion continues to hold Nastajia back. It shows how much she cares, as it appears that she would have jumped into the water herself in order to try to save Alex (which is quite the change from her normal, almost always poised, self). It is especially nice to see this following her very cold, controlled strike against Nicodemus.
Augh! I wanna know what happens next! I’m such a greedy reader…I hope your meeting go well.

Unless the water is amazingly clear (and it usually is not if that’s salt water), they probably can’t even see Alexander and Nic right now.

Since Nic is reptilian, would it be possible that he can breathe underwater?
There might be something out there on the surface of the ocean she’s seeing nobody else has noticed yet. Probably not, but it’s a possibility…
If he can breathe underwater AND breathe fire, that’ll be interesting. Of course, even if he can breathe, that’s likely to be a mortal wound.
I love the bubble effect on the sinking debris. Good graphics.
Reptiles are not usually capable of breathing water. Hold a crocodile under water and it will drown, after all. You need gills to be able to breathe water, and Nic doesn’t seem to have those. He MIGHT know some magic that can transform him, however. But could he cast it underwater?

I understand you’re going for dramatic effect here but this is 3 days of someone falling in the water. Please advance the story!

Well, hopefully Alex does NOT wake up right now… That would be a bad place to fall back asleep to. At least when he was falling down the castle way back when, he was able to coordinate using the sword to break his fall.
An interesting twist would be for him to wake up, with Nicks last amount of energy see that Alex has dissapeared, then Alex could have his (Nephew) coordinate with Nast for WHEN the mermaids should show up.
Of course, I have a feeling that his Nephew may already be in possession of the Wraiths.
Summon the mermaids! We can’t have Alex’s cute behind get waterlogged!

I meant to point this out earlier when you had your big ad clicking campaign going on, but didn’t get around to it. But now you’re doing it again, and I’m worried.

I don’t think Project Wonderful has such a rule (I couldn’t find one). I think since the AdSense ads are such a big part of your income, you should make sure you follow their rules. They can and do remove sites that do what you’re doing out of AdSense.

really, how many more pages to we need of alex and nick sinking to the bottom of the ocean? i get it’s important part of the story, but it is a bit to much, i hope something new comes up on the next page.

first time they asked ‘how many more pages’ we got ‘5 more pages of falling’ then the next time we got ’16’. I think we should stop asking how many more pages or we will never see the end of the falling

I’ll enjoy the sinking, if only because of the glorious blue used and those nice little bubbles.. It’s zen man…
Nic wouldn’t need to transform per se. He would just have to have a method of seperating the oxygen from the hydrogen quickly and effeciently. Sort of like an instant rebreather and oxygenator. If that last sentence made sense, then I am impressed with my self.

Falling in slow motion has never been so captivating I don’t think, at least in comic form. Glad to hear there’s more to come. ^_^

my guess is that his nephew and the other kids from earliyer still have the ship from the nightmare realm and is coming over the sea on it. (hence felicity is looking out over the sea and smiling (?) because she sees it)

Wait, do you mean little cousin Joey and his friends and the pirate ship? Nastajia took it over and ended up crashing it into a hole in a mountain trying to escape from Nick and some Nightmare Realm creature.
Guys, seriously, all Alex has to do to get out of this situation is to wake up. Nic will drown, and Alex can just come back whenever.

Yes, the trick is that Scott is simply asking people to turn off ad-blockers, and “click if you want to.” So technically he is not breaking the rules, because he is not encouraging people to click ads – he’s encouraging people to see them (which benefits the ad vendors as much as it does Scott).
