So…they did it. They finally kissed.
I know it wasn’t the same amount of build up as Nastajia and Alex…but it’s still nice to finally be here.
I also wanted to say WOW. Only one day in with the Kickstarter and we’re already almost 20% of the way.
Great job!
I wanted to let you all know that anything OVER our goal will go towards MORE books. We get a discount on larger orders.
So I would have books for cons and such. So it’s a GOOD thing if we go over the goal.

That glasses thing in the last two panels has to be the cutest thing in this comic I’ve seen for a while, and that’s saying something. This comic is extremely good at cute moments, as is. This one’s just… extremely extra cute or something. IDK.

That last pic really cracked me up! “Happily dishevelled” at it’s best. Made me remember my “first time” I was also too shy to do anything, thusly this gorgeous ladyfriend I dared only admire at a distance, grabbed me something fierce!! 😆 😆

Yeah, the 90$ is a typo – it has been clarified in the comments yesterday and Scott cannot edit on Kickstarter. The description is correct, just the title is wrong.
So go for 110$ if you want the plush!

Yay yay yay!!! I've been waiting for this page since these two first spoke to each other! Hahaha. Now we just have to wait for the next page. Will there be more awkward standing around? Will Dan kiss her back (yes, please)? Will we pan back to Dreamland (not yet! I swear, I'll throw a shoe!)?

I was 28 by the time I first kissed. The very first one was kind of strange for me, but it got better.
I was just never in any hurry.
Well, admittedly, the requirements for this kind of thing happening are quite difficult… becoming an heir to the reign of a dream land kingdom but denied due to a technical loophole, having a twin brother go there anyway, writing up all sorts of chronicles of said dream land, going to college and meeting a very scientifically-minded woman who used to go there but had totally forgotten, performs sleep research, and is thus in denial of its very possibility before you show her otherwise when your brother unknowingly just -happens- to find her childhood friend and ends up unleashing all sorts of childhood memories… yeah these things don’t happen as often as they should. 😛
Oh wait, you mean that kiss? Hm… I haven’t a clue whatsoever. Maybe everyone needs to get out more. Myself included. XP

Reminds me of the first time I kissed the woman I ended up marrying. It was one of those several-minute-long ones, the kind where you half expect a camera to start panning around you and the Big Red jingle to start playing.

My consistent experience with such things is that it leads to the glasses being mashed up against the eyes, which can lead to scratching of the eyeballs and bruising of the bridge of the noise and general eye area. Uncomfortable experience all round.

Like everyone else, the glasses askew after the kiss was a really, really nice touch.
It’s quite accurate, too. As are some of the previous comments concerning the dangers of wearing glasses while snogging.
I haven’t read any further yet, so I don’t know what the follow up will be like, but speaking as a longtime glasses wearer, shortly they will determine that when settling in for a good snog, ditch the glasses!
So I guess I’ll find out whether or not Scott wears glasses, or has seriously snogged with someone who does… or at least took the previous comments to heart and extrapolated properly.
By the by, this is a seriously wondrous comic that I’d never heard of before, prior to seeing it listed on Outsider’s link page. I’ve been binge reading for the last several days now…
