I’ve been wondering: What are the purple shapes in the background? they seem to be a sort of light source, but there’s no depth to them, no shadow falling on them. they’re kinda just hovering there and it drives me nuts that I don’t know what it is that I’m seeing there… XD
Hmmm… it seems like Ol’ Nic was somewhat loyal to Arthur before- shades of complexity to his character I was never expecting- good to see a fleshed-out villain for a change.

Hello everyone, I just finished reading though this whole comic in a couple of days. It’s great to be caught up so I can finally participate in the discussions. I just want to say that I absolutely love this comic. Both the story and the art are amazing and beautifully done.
Anyway, I really love the King Arthur scenes and I can’t wait to get back to Camelot even though ’tis a silly place.

Hey, all! I discovered this not long ago and have spent the last week catching up. Now I’m all up to date! This has been a real treat to read and I can’t wait for more.
No matter what day, it’s still a silly place.
It was the lure of the cookies.
Now you have to join the rest of us and be patient as we read it one page at a time, eagerly awaiting the next day’s (or Monday’s) crumb of pixelated enchantment.

Now this is totally showing my age but the look of the wraiths very much remind me of the bad guys from the movie “The Dark Crystal”

It just dawned on me. This is the 1st scene IN Dreamland where the human king is not present.
I always assumed that these are “Chronicles.” experienced by Alex, recorded by Dan. I understand that this is a story and this scene is important… but how does this become part of the “Chronicles?”
The sword is explaining to Alex how Nick took over dreamland. At least that is my understanding of what is going on at the current moment.
well, with the dwarves there, I was expecting them to be underground, so I didn’t even think there might be windows… they just don’t “interact” with the occupants of the room. no purple light is reflected from any of them…
ah well, maybe I’m thinking about it too much. 😉

I think that those are the walls with the twilight from outside lighting them up. Check back to page 1110 for a bigger picture of it.
