Probably stupid of me to point out, but fairies and rock giants are switched on this page. http://thedreamlandchronicles.com/2007/05/25/todays-dreamland-chronicles-410/ It was accuate up until yesterday..oh well.
To those who don’t have the books, I highly recomend them. The book is 10% better print quality then the above page. I can’t WAIT to see how the new comp turns out in Book 4.
Watching the Monster Tracker pilot now. Kevin’s done a great job! Well researched and presented.
I am surprised “Back” was bolded, and not “Fly”… I would have figured there would have been a little bit of play on that still… Can’t wait to see Gardenia again, or their reaction to how much Everyone has progressed 😀

Strategic meetings, and what if’s…. Now about the amulet… there is a chance that old Nick doesn’t have it. And this is why he hasn’t yet appeared. If I was he, as soon as I had the amulet, I would go to a rampage to find the tablets… And since it seems few things are able to stand before him, he would have a really easy time of it. Now there is a chance that he amulet is still in the mountain, and that the dwarves are still under siege… Just an idea.
Unfortunately, Nick knocked out Felicity before Bognok and the dwarves attacked him. So Felicity was out of the action and would not have been able to nab it. Nick was still holding onto it while battling the dwarves.

I looked over the Discover Channel site and did not find anywhere to put in some support for Monster Tracker. Can you or Kevin suggest anything beyond telling our friends and recording on our DVRs?
What … drama? I thought, now the great uprising like “we are the champions” would upcome?
Does felicity not get a catfolk homeland? I assume that the catfolk tablet is a pointless fan-fic though.

I like it better on “Back”, since they will have come full circle at that point, “Back” to where [adult] Alex started all of this. Or at least where he found and got reacquainted with the first of his companions, Kiwi.
I really like the color of the lighting in this (and the last couple) pages. You can really tell it’s firelight! Especially on Kiwi; the yellow/orange from the firelight seems to make her more … pinkish, I guess.
Of course, I’m red-green colorblind, so what I’m seeing may or may not be what everyone else is seeing …

OK, folks. If you missed it, the premise of Monster Tracker is to use science and components existing creatures to create a plausible mythological creature.
So what are your votes for mythical beasties to do in future episodes, assuming the pilot gets picked up? Here are mine, in no particular order:
1. Merfolk

I can’t wait to see what Alex learned in all those lessons with Orion. The montage hinted at it, but lessons are one thing, practical use is another. Go Alex Go.. show them that you’re not as incompetent as they think you are. w00t!

I just checked the Discovery Channel website online airing schedule. It played twice last night (once at 1:00 AM). That’s it.
Best to check your online video sources. It would be cool if Discovery Channel offered a stream but they don’t. Be careful, though. I checked a couple of sites found via Google and my anti-virus shut down the page because of malware trying to be installed.
I’m really surprised Alex didn’t fly over to read that centaur tablet first thing. What if Nicodemus had shown up meanwhile?

Wow… I can tell you that I’m so looking forward to seeing more Rock Giants. 🙂 And Gardenia is really pretty -so whichever place is next will be fantastic. In fact if it’s somewhere totally different that’ll be fine too! 😀

Umm well tom spelled it different than you did in the comic. Isn’t that a guys name though? Doesn’t have to be the correct spelling I would think, theres tons of names that are close to a word but spelled differently. Cant think of them right now, but there’s a bunch ::nod:: ::nod:: I know it. ;P
I remember noticing last year that we had the same birthday…so Happy Birthday (for tomorrow) Scott! =D Enjoying the comic for another year, it’s still amazing and still very heartwarming. Hope we can exchange these greetings again NEXT year =)

I’d settle for People-Not-Concerned-With-Political-Labels-Who-Can-Still-Compromise-To-Get-Stuff-Done. Those went extinct years ago.
