Wow.
Um…I have nothing to say here really.
I’m so happy to have reached this milestone. And I thank you all (a lot of you who have been here from page 1) for reading along with me.
1000 pages is no small feat. And I’m happy I was able to do this in only 3 years and 10 months.
Through our move from Los Angeles to Nashville. Our boys first day at school. My back injury. Multiple website reboots.
You guys have been so supportive over the years.

I was hoping to announce something cool. But really…nothing “cool” is ready to be announced.
Not just yet.

Wow! Thank you so much for the comic! Has it really been that long? 3 years? Wow. I remember waiting for the clock to turn to 10 (that’s when the comic updates over here in Seattle) and quickly refreshing the page to see what happened next to Alex after he entered that cave. And now… I still do that! It’s even like a family tradition with my dad now whenever I go over to his house. We talk, have dinner, and read the latest Dreamland…
I really can’t thank you enough for all the hard work you’ve put into this! It has been an amazing adventure so far, and I can’t wait to see what’s up next!

1000, what a milestone indeed! Congratulations for keeping it up that far, and congratulations for intending to keep it up even longer (because that’s even more impressive). congratulations, even more importantly, to have managed to keep readers hooked up on such a passionating story for all this time, and congratulations for such devotion to this work of art, which undoubtedly surpasses anything ever seen before on the net. like I said before, I hope to see it one day getting literature or comic prizes (if it didn’t get any yet, I’m not exactly up to speed on these matters) and to see it becoming a bestseller, it really deserves it!
And it’s really no problem if there’s no fireworks for this event (where I am anyway -Northern France- it’s so so cold they’d probably freeze in mid-air). Once again, congratulations, and it should be us, the fans, who should be thanking you.

There are going to be six books total. The FAQ says so. So it seems that we have passed the half way mark not too long ago. But we still have a few more years!
Each book seems to be between 250 and 300 pages, so the fourth book is almost done, I think (in terms of pages; I know the fourth book won’t be released the day that the last page is released).

It took me nine hours to read from beginning to end! I am very impressed by not only the aspct of preserving pruity in your comic’s approach to revealing a theme/ twist, but also quite the amount of fan fare I’ve realised you’ve surmounted in the development of such a wise investment of your time!

Because I don’t have TDLC bookmarked. I just have the RSS feed. I barely use bookmarks for my webcomics; just feeds.
Yeah, I’m the same way; actually. But … inevitably someone mentions the voting just about every day in the comments, so as soon as I’m reminded, I go to my bookmarked link to the voting page and vote.
And lately I’ve been trying to put the link in the comments each day myself, to help others get there. Scott doesn’t seem to want to put the voting link up permanently, and I respect his decision; so, like any good family, we’ll work around him “for his own good”.
ok ok I know I’m a bit late with the congrats but I think it’s awesome! i’ve was introduced to dreamland about 2.5 years ago from a friend of mine. I don’t do well with reading daily cause I don’t do well with suspense haha so i save it up and read it all at the end of the week. usually on sunday. Hence my getting around to the posting of the congrats today. On a side note maybe as an incentive you could put the letters that every one missed in the book once it’s printed! I’m just saying.
