Making of the Dreamland Chronicles (Book Five)…Page 09…
IMPORTANT!
We’re 2 weeks into our KICKSTARTER for pre-ordering Book 5 and we’re 59% there.
But we NEED to reach well PAST our goal to cover the printing costs for the extra pages (330 pages in this Book).
So please tell your family and friends to order books over the next few weeks.
We need everyone to help out again this year.

Thanks for reading along during these next couple of weeks where I prepare for the next chapter.

The bed’s probably a tad too long, from what i’ve seen of ‘old’ 4 poster beds in castles and stuff, they tend to be shorter, but have a big stack of pillows, so you sleep almost sitting up, rather than laid out flat. Not sure i’d like sleeping sat propped up though.
People were much shorter back in the Good Old Days. Which weren’t so good if you actually had to live through them… There’s a Victorian house in my town run as a historical site with largely original furniture, and one of the things I’ve noticed is the beds are so short if I were to lie on them, my feet would be sticking over the bottom edge.
Of course in a historical fantasy setting, that’s irrelevant. ๐

Indeed, I mean elves, catgirls (yay) and talking swords ๐ It’s all good.
All i can say is… When can i move in there!?!
No, people were only a couple of inches shorter. Beds were short because they did sleep sitting up, against the headboard — that’s why there’s a headboard in the first place.
As said, though, in a fantasy setting this may not apply.
The wood and stones in the throne room look like they are real.
That’s where the Boardwalk is.
Thanks all!
I’m going to take a day off tomorrow. I’ll have a few more days of Making of pages next week. But I’m trying to get Chapter 17 ready to go while also finishing up the Ed’s Terrestrials screenplay.
Thanks for coming by every day and posting comments. I really appreciate you hanging out while we get ready for the next chapter.
