Really, how are these dwarves going to effectively attack the group? All Paddington has to do is swipe in an arc and the whole group goes flying. Brute strength and endurance is one of the advantages of having a rock giant in your crew…especially against landlubbers who can only come at you in two dimensions.
I’m more concerned about whether or not the ‘take away their weapons’ part indicates that the person who said that knows that Nicodemus wants that sword…
You know, based on the fist he’s making in the last panel, I think Paddington might be getting angry. And I doubt that the dwarves will like him when he’s angry.
Any chance of this webpage getting back the drop down menu with the page number? (not just the chapter number?). I normally only check this site once a week and I hate seeing spoilers as I skip back pages, one at a time!
Um, you guys are forgetting something fairly obvious. Dwarves live under ground and have a total respect for and admiration for…ROCK(s). So to them paddington will recieve a certain amount of awe and honour. Living rock? hell yeah, they are so going to get out of this easy.
Whether they know of Nicodemus’ interest in the sword or not, I’m fairly certain they will encounter unexpected — problems — when they try to take it. Swords like that … do funny things when threatened.
Volizden– True, but my first thought was that because Paddington is a rock, he’s a prime target for the dwarves if they’re serious about obeying Evil Rabble Rouser in the back there. Dwarves are very, very good at dismantling rocks as well as respecting them.
Pengu, here’s a suggestion for you: bookmark the most recent page, and then update the bookmark every week when you read it. That way you can always return to the last page you read.
Given that dwarves are masters of stonework, the tall guy may know some magic like ‘immobilize rock.’ Something like that would be useful in mines to stop cave-ins.
Whoever that shadowy figure is, I suspect he’s NOT a dwarf!
He must be one of Nickys evil henchmen.
No if he were a Henchman his nose would be bigger and he would certainly not be taller than a dwarf.
That dude is SO not a dwarf. He’s twice the size of them!

Well, actually, the dude can be a dwarf on some mechanical mecha-like contraption. Dwarves are good engineers, aren’t they?
It’s obviously two dwarves, just one standing on the other’s shoulders. I knew having watched Time Bandits would come in handy.
Hmm…. bunch of dwarfs…. big ol’ paddington

Considering the unpopularity of Nick among the commoners, the patriot dwarf dude is probably a tricky tricky henchman.
Question is, Will they Recognize the Sword of the King??
Dwarfs Have Long Memories, so they are the ones I think would remember who is king in Dreamland.
you think??
I wonder if they could take the sword away from Alex. It seemed to have a mind of its own when he first got it.

Lonna: Have you played Civ4?
I know Kiwi is a fairy and therefore small, but I don’t see her in any if the panels, oh and where is Alex’s head in the first two panels?

The guy in the blue armor needs a light jes linked to his head. For the first 2 panals he looks headless.
Interrogation?
hmmm… Wonder what’ll happen next…
i cant help my mind from thinking this but…
Interrogation sounds like Integration. XD
Look at my website & youll see why…
Alex made me laugh, standing there with no visible head…even in the last panel its just a black blob. 😛

HA!!! I KNEW SOETHING BAD WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!>:(
Paddington: “Please don’t turn me into one of those pillars, I surrender!”
Fetch…THE COMFY CHAIR!!!
“Lonna: Have you played Civ4?”
You do realize that “You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.” is older than Sid Meier’s Civilization as a whole, right?
Alex has no head, XDD
Well, Nicole’s always been saying that Alex isn’t all there.
Cardinal Biggles! Cardinal Fang! Fetch the POINTY CUSHIONS!
really tall dwarf
