Book Six Behind the Scenes Page 02…
Thank you all for the feedback.
I’m waiting to hear back from Phil on how to change the font size.
If that doesn’t work…we’ll see about changing the font.
The script is coming along well. I’m plugging up some plot holes.
In the meantime, Catherine is working on the Nightmare Realm.
I think you’ll really like it.
Scott
yeah, I can’t say I like this font much for reading. Makes a good title font, but not a text font 😛
Changed the font for the .entry and .comment sections only to something more readable. “Fresca”
What begs the question is DOES the font need to be changed all that much? It has too many swirls and accents to be read all that well in such a tiny font. I’d suggest something like Bookman Old Style, or maybe even the font that’s used for the comic, since it would help give the audience a sense of unity–even if it wasn’t all in caps lock (unless, perhaps, that font doesn’t come in lower case)
What do you guys think?
The font is already much more readable. 🙂 I’m happy with the change!
However…the progressively darker gray comment boxes (for replies to comments) may pose a problem with reading the text. I don’t think that the comment boxes need to be colored any differently than the comment they’re replying to (if that makes sense). The fact that the responses are indented makes it fairly obvious that they are replies, so the “window” they’re in doesn’t need to be shaded another color (or maybe it’s the result of layering light gray windows on top of each other).
I really like the backdrop image 🙂
Still wish I could see the faces of Alex and the dwarf king (forgot his name at the moment).
😀

Sorry, but the font is awful, utterly unreadable.
What did you say?
Nice one, Scott!
I like the new font, personally. Very readable to me.
Ugh, ad that pops over the middle of content. Not very nice. Surf 5? Can’t remember now and as soon as I tried getting the screenshot it disappeared.
It’s better readable.
I still do not understand the necessity to distract people who have a hard time reading stuff (glasses and sorta) from excellent content with FONTS, which may or may not be “cool”. Just stick with something plain and simple (Tahoma, Helvetica, Something else Sans Serif) – I reckon that’s the collision of “artistry” versus “common sense” and “design best practices”.
After all, ‘t is your show. Just take care where your creative whims take you.
I’m agreeing, simple clean fonts for large blocks of text for easy reading.
Ooh, I like Merlin without the bangs. 🙂 And the sketch of the two of them looking into each other’s eyes is really cute.
Replying just to see how dark these reply-to-comment boxes can go…
Can you still read this??
Yes, I can. I’m replying because I think this is a worthwhile exercise. ^^
