started reading this like wednesday last week its pretty damn good i almost would expect it to become a pixar movie or a disney movie ever thought of pitching it?
I find it very LotR-esque
it looks alot like Moria, as designed by that artist, used for the film… is that a bad thing? yes a little, as it doesn’t seem so original…
but yes, I am very excited about, what this chapter will bring…

The Elf princess wants to negotiate with the Dwarves… This should be interesting… ๐ I’m also wondering how far Terry Pratchett’s troll paradigm applies to Paddington. Soon find out, I guess… ๐
(For those who don’t read Pratchett it roughly goes: “Trolls and Dwarves fight because Dwarves are always searching for valuable mineral bearing rocks, and when you get right down to it that’s what a Troll is.” :D)
Scott is it me or are you using some kind of different texture on the dwarves, the page before this one, and this page make them a bit shiny and make them look like plastic toys.
When I saw the last page I really though you were releaseing dwarf figurines or something.

Well yes…every character has their own set of textures.
But nothing new was done here. These guys are just wearing a lot more armor than other Dreamlanders I think. And their armor isn’t the same shelac material as Alexanders is.
His is special.

See if it still bothers you in a week or so. If no one likes it…I can look into toning the shine down. But it’d be a lot of work since I’ve already done 30 pages of this chapter.

Except Paddington is Stone, and these are Dwarves. I just wonder why Staj has her bow drawn while she’s saying she’s gonna try negotiating. Is that “aggressive negotiation?”

I just realized that Felicity has quite a visible belly button indentation, so she has either VERY short fur, or that’s just skin coloration, not fur at all.

One problem with making Paddington mad; if he starts moving, the roof will come down on all of them(a bit like using Merton in FF3/6)… now Felicity would be able to take care of them, since as the thief, she’d have a really high speed stat.
