Flying answered…
Over the next few pages…we will learn about flying in Dreamland.
Since the first day Alexander showed he couldn’t fly anymore…I have been getting emails upon emails asking why.
So…I actually went into the script and REWROTE some of it to include this for you all.
🙂
So I hope these pages help and I hope you enjoy some time with Kiwi and Alexander.
As always…thanks for reading and thanks for being interested enough to ask me these questions.
Hopefully I’ve replied to every one of your emails…and these new pages help answer this question.
Thanks again
So none of the kids can fly anymore? I had thought it was just Alexander and probably because he’s so much older that he’d lost the knack of flying. Now you got me curious. 😀
No, Scott explained it somewhat in the comments before. Residents of Dreamland cannot normally fly unless they are flying with a human. All humans can fly in dreamland, but they have to learn/remember how. Alex forgot how and will most likely remember at some key point in the story.
No way!!! You’re awesome!!!
This should be very interesting…
I figured that flying humans create a kind of ‘flying field’ for their friends/allies.
The relationship between humans and dreamlanders seems kinda symbiotic in a lot of ways. If they didn’t need humans for something or other, it’s hard to imagine them being so friendly.
I thought it was pretty obvious. You already had talk of lucid dreaming…
Quick ammendment to my previous statement – MOST Dreamland residents cannot fly without a flying human – Dragons and fairies by their very nature can fly regardless.
I wonder if the “association-thing” also explains why Kiwi can hold Alex up in the air so easily. Unless she has the strength of an elephant of course. 🙂 Other than that – this explanation is interesting – because it also tells us that humans have some powers most of the dreamlanders have not.
